Ok I've noticed that when i play fox in particular when i play against people of high skill range i seem to play smarter faster more clean but when i play against a scrub my tech skills seem harder to do and idk y.

Also when i practice at home i move alot more easier but when i play my friends i cant move as easily i was just wondering if anyone else had/has this problem and if so if u had how did you break the habit:confused:

When you're playing "scrubs," a lot of the stuff you look to react to just isn't there. And their actions tend to be random and obscure making reading pointless. Fox is a bait/punish kind of character, so if you don't even have to outsmart the opponent, it just throws your game off.

I know it'd just blow my mind to plow right through an opponent with no worries about chaingrabs or eating a huge combo.

u just need people exp ad the better players are punishing u more ..pushing u to your limits but u need to keep practicing tech skill and just play more people and it would fix our problem in no time

this.

/10char.

just punish scrubs for whatever they're doing wrong. I have this same problem when I try hard, I don't do as well. So I don't use any tech skill vs scrubs, or go secondaries (*cough* marth *cough*) more. I usually get 4-stocks that way more often.

scrubs are so much fun the first game, and so boring after the set is over. i try teaching a few, showing them their habits with stupid **** that shouldn't work (i once took the last 2 stocks off a guy with marth by walking and ftilting).

It has been said before, and I'll say it again. Just play people better than you as often as possible. I find my tech skill limited to some degree when I play people better than me, but eventually, you get over that fear, and play with more consistency.
