No, everyone wants to prove that shiek should beat mario regardless, which is hardly true.

People forget to factor in player skill, match up knowledge, and match up comfortability.

Ken already proved it, hes extremely good against shieks (his counter character) yet hes stated that he doesnt like peach vs marth.

Maybe Atma has trouble with marios, or didnt know the match up that well. Maybe Dajuan (Shroomed) is really THAT good against shieks. He has played quite a few, and all of them are decent at best.

And do you guys realize you are poking fun at him, whether you understand it or not. Making fun of Atma because his charcater should **** Dajuan's character regardless makes it seem as if Dajuan's win was unjustified because he was playing a horrible sheik, which Atma isnt.

player skill - of COURSE player skill trumps character matchup, I don't think anyone is arguing against this
match up knowledge // match up comfortability - duh, that's the whole point here; any sheik that knows what they're doing will **** mario. Obviously someone who's never played smash before isn't going to pick up sheik and beat mario

seeing as green mario has beaten almost every good peach, I'd say the matchup is pretty even at least.

shroomed, mario has a lot of stuff to really do some nasty things to sheik with, but that can be succinctly phrased in that mario has a good punish game on sheik. the problem is a good sheik is rarely going to leave themselves opened to be punished, and outside of that it's a decent character v a top tier character. so yes, v a smart good sheik, mario will get *****

Knowing Dajuan personally, I can tell you, Atma IS the better player. Im not bashing on Dajuan, nor am I saying he sucks, but I am saying Atma is more consistent, and technical than Dajaun. Atma also plays the better character(s).
