Was awesome.

I won FFA items tourney and I won the Street Fighter 2 tourney to net myself a copy of Serious Sam II, which I left in Antho's bag.

Hopefully seeing if I can get some SF4 going next LanSmash.

****, sorry Michael >.<

Tournament was good, numbers were quite small, but I found it to be quite enjoyable. Ben and Josh won Brawl Doubles, I won Brawl Singles and Ben and Josh decided not to play out their finals Melee set, instead opting to run away because they had to leave.

Today was a very important step, that being us laying the foundation for our continued presence at LanSmash events. I can see attendance and interest soaring through word of mouth and increased presence in the QLD gaming community through LanSmash.

I was able to meet with JB, and he is very receptive to the plans I have in store for our presence at LanSmash. So I'm very happy with the way things panned out today.

Congrats to the winning people, including Sieg with the SF2.

And yeah, this'll be my last meet/tournament here for some time, possibly forever. No more Team Manly Adventure. Which is a shame, because it's such an awesome name. And it involved the epic Port Town counterpicks. I suppose I should make some sort of goodbye post in the main QLD thread.

Oh, and thanks Bob for loaning me a controller, and Scrubs for providing transportation.

Thanks for the day everyone! It felt really googo to a tournament again, for the first time in over a year. Props to Yokai for improving a lot, and to Vyse, who has some serous melee skills, as does Paff. Me and Ben still have the teams magic, good to know.

Highlights included a 4 times banana lock, a wario bite to motorbike up the river combo and an epic teams final with humorous counterpicking.

peace out

Pfft Billy, you can't beat Chun Li, she's too broken lol.

The Bison I came up against was really pro, and beat me the first set, but then he played Ken in the second set to show off and I ***** him.

Then I beat his Bison last round. YEAHYUZ.

Oh, I forgot to mention earlier: props to Yokai for repping Melee Zelda so well. I don't know what you placed, but you were quite formidable.
