Volpuff: Very simply, yet so very clean. It's pleasurable to the eye. Sure, you could've done more, but nothing that wouldn't have made it look too extravagant/lose purpose. (Voted)
Polizard: Sorry, copy and pasting Poliwag's spiral onto Charizard's stomach, scratching some shoddy gloves, then coloring it blue doesn't look all that fabulous. Try experimenting with more facial changes, such as eyes, the removal of the mouth (such that it more resembles Poliwrath) and get away from just adding the "accessories" of a Pokemon.
Drifgross: Yeah, didn't take any advice on how to change it, so it didn't turn out as good as it could have been. Check the main thread for my advice and critique.
Armldaraptor: I have no idea why people are bashing this. Of course it looks silly, have you SEEN Armaldo? I REALLY like this. There are some minor coloring issues, shading problems that I find detract from the sprite, but overall probably my 2nd favorite.
Gengbat: It's ugly, the mouth doesn't fit, and it's simply a badly done copy/paste and recolor the wings. Really ugly.

But yeah, haha, that's part of the fun of spriting. To me, it's like, "Okay, if these two Pokemon had a baby, what would it look like?"
Which makes the Staraptor + Armaldo that much better.
