Proteininja's Texture Pack! Is L337 Haxorz LULZ! noob... (updated 6/3/09)

First, I would like to begin by saying that this pack is based almost entirely off of Silven and ChiboSempai's hard work in gathering textures (thanks Silven and Chibo ), and that neither Silven, nor I have made any of these textures ourselves. I changed the pack so that all of the original(00) textures are unchanged because thats what I like. I added a few textures to fill in some gaps, I used lz77ex.exe to fix a few textures that could not transform, and now I yoinked some of Chibo's textures for more easily discernable team coloring(all fair in love and textures).

The result is a pack that won't make your game freeze, has an absolute ton of textures without removing the originals colors for each character, and now has texture that match up with team colors much better. The team coloring is not perfect, but I like to think of it between perfection and badassery. It does not have CSP's, and it will stay that way unless someone want to make them.

I moved a bunch of textures around to make them line up with the team coloration better, and I added a few of chibos textures (ex. Green and Red Sonics).

The set does not adhere in its entirety to Chibo's team color rules, but it is pretty darn close.

Also, if you can think of any existing textures you would like to see added to the set just leave a post, and more often than not I'd be glad to oblige.

You can now download the texture pack, a premade sd with 4.1 and shanus's team fix textures, or a premade sd with 4.1 and the proteininja texture compilation.

Well you probably have your buffer set the same, so it wouldn't be that.

Honestly, I hate playing brawl online because of the lag, so think of online play as a sort of second class citizen. The US Constitution says they have all of their rights, but they don't.

So, I guess what I'm trying to say is some complex textures cause slowdown which only surfaces during online play, and that if that is the case I won't be doing anything about it. BUT that doesn't mean YOU can't do anything about it. So, my advice is that you replace those textures in your set, and make your own online set that satisfies your needs.

If there is anything good about this set it is that the set is easy to modify, so soldier on.

Yeah, I'm pretty sure sleepy hat only freezes once you reach a certain number of textures or there's a specific other texture in the pack that causes it. I can use jiggly&watch fine with my personal textures (there's like 30-40 of them), and it works fine on sleepy hat. If I try using lord khanti's or your texture pack, though, it freezes.

This is great... I'm not going to use every texture in the pack... or even any at all. That's not what is so great about this thread.
It is that I've found a complete list of which numbers correspond to which costumes. Now I don't have to experiment with every character to find out which costumes will go where!
