Hmm, maybe it's the camera then. You're crazy. Stage's size is ported from Melee, bro
Right-o, I meant to say Despair. Too many Harmonys, lol. That is actually from Harmony of Despair, not dissonance.
A psn/xbox live only online game.
Camera is pretty close to Melee in Demo 2.Hmm, maybe it's the camera then.
You have to have all stages unlocked. I would recommend playing vBrawl to unlock all of them. (As some of the requirements have you play as characters not in demo 2).What is the quickest way to get the ability to choose my random stage list? Do I have to do vBrawl if my Wii is hackless?
I thought it was something like 200 vs match kills, but that did nothing.
Haha, damn, I thought I was onto something original when I came up with both of those.Right-o, I meant to say Despair. Too many Harmonys, lol.
Sonic overB jump cancel to wavedash is godlike btw. OverB, waveland, tech chase with overB, waveland... Also b-reversing overB in the middle of a run to immediately change direction. This character is too fuuuuuun
Ike is top tier.I feel like Ike hits too hard for how fast he moves, and combos too easily for how hard he hits.
That much is certain.Ike is top tier.
It is 200 vs match kills, but YOU need to be the one getting the kills. You have to also make sure it's regular VS mode and not special Brawl. What is the quickest way to get the ability to choose my random stage list? Do I have to do vBrawl if my Wii is hackless?
I thought it was something like 200 vs match kills, but that did nothing.
Play the game with the mind set Ike won't be changed, as if this was a real Smash Bros. released by Nintendo where Nintendo won't patch the game. I'm sure you'll find some way to beat Ike, even if it seems like Ike is impossible or hard to beat. That much is certain.
I'm just wondering if it's too early to speculate if he should be toned down a bit. I could be bad at the match up, I could still be getting used to the feel (I'm a Melee player, but it still feels different and there are things that don't work). But my impression right now is that he may need to be toned down. He just seems really... easy to do really well with.
It's in the known issues list in the original post, please read that in the future before reporting things! The first one: it was DK vs Luigi in the Jungle stage, I did a cargo throw on the upper left platform, tried to throw Luigi down and ended up going through the platform and into the main platform.
DK was stuck with about a third of his body inside the stage and I couldn't do anything until Luigi broke the grab.
Think of it this way:I agree that it is too soon to speculate, but at the same time, has anyone been playing Ganon against Bowser and Charizard? Ganon has a been a main for my brother since melee, but both Charizard and Bowser seem to completely out range him with their melee attacks AND murder with their firebreath.
in short... where's Kage? I haven't seen a post from him in a long while.
I don't know how I missed it when I read through it, sorry. It's in the known issues list in the original post, please read that in the future before reporting things!
Thanks though.
I think it was the Mario Kart stage, but I'm not sure, I'll ask my friends to see if they remember. We know of the DK bug, thanks.
The second one is weird. What stage were you on?
Ike has a 1 hit 0-death move that can also (probably) break shields. Ike is broken/OP/top tier.Anyone trying to even put a character in a general tier is RIDICULOUS. The game JUST came out. Melee's metagame is still changing TO THIS DAY, and only 1/3rd of the cast is on the level of EVERY character in P:M. I just facepalm every time I hear people talk about a character being broken or OP. Unless they have some BS that lets them break shields in pressure, get 1-hit from approaches every time, or 0-death consistently, they aren't broken.
Pause and then press L+R+A+Start. Is there any way to quit out once a stage is selected, like how in Melee you could press L R A Start if a stage came up that you didn't want to play on?
"1-hit" was supposed to say "1st-hit", which means yeah, it has to be a viable approach. >_>Ike has a 1 hit 0-death move that can also (probably) break shields. Ike is broken/OP/top tier.
You didn't say that the move had to be viable in serious matches...
I meant when the stage is loading... in melee you could press LRAStart and get sent back to the homescreen. Nothing of the sort in P:M?Pause and then press L+R+A+Start.
If giving early impressions to spark discussion is wrong, I don't want to be right.Anyone trying to even put a character in a general tier is RIDICULOUS. The game JUST came out. Yup, that's what I'm doing.Play the game with the mind set Ike won't be changed, as if this was a real Smash Bros. released by Nintendo where Nintendo won't patch the game. I'm sure you'll find some way to beat Ike, even if it seems like Ike is impossible or hard to beat.
But we are certainly going to be watching, don't worry (this is where tournaments and video footage comes into play).
