The funny part was, as this was posted it was basically exactly what I was thinking about. It almost feels like the PMDT read my mind lmao, kinda scared.

As somebody who has been struggling with depression and anxiety for most of my life, including many suicidal "phases" and one "incident" (don't worry, I'm coming up on a year without suicidal thoughts, and I have less and less dark days), this video struck a lot of chords in me.
Sky is a rad dude, mad ups to him.

I channel depression into constructive forms of art, that's how I got good at painting and piano :D

I remember reading somewhere that depression is a temporary mental illness that everyone gets. Kinda like any other sickness, if left untreated it could get much more severe.

PMDT Application denied, guess I bombed the test pretty hard haha, it's cool though I wouldn't want to be in a place where I'm not wanted, I'll just stay an avid supporter and continue to piss people off by playing Link

Somewhat disappointed in not opting for Conductor Link, but I think they technically have one slot left over (9 out of 10).

I love that the Silver and Shadow alts actually use their shoes though.

I love Mega Slowbro. It looks so goofy. I hope the shiny version has the same shiny colors so I can name mine (Slow)BRODOK.
Fixed.

It gets easier to watch the coffin get lowered in without reacting overtly over time.
It has for me, at least.

It is always difficult to cope, and move on, though I end up past all of these sorts of things abnormally(IMO) quickly.

Honestly?
I don't think I grieve normally, or enough, not anymore, among other oddities regarding not being... impeded(as in not being slowed down, or burdened, in any way whatsoever) by negative feelings.

The fact that I don't get how I do it, past a fairly large amount of experience at dealing with crappy events,(I've been to hospitals/the ER about, I'd say 4-5 times; I've brought relatives/friends to them more than 15+ times I believe, usually with me being the only one making it happen, to put it into perspective) either, and that unsettles me to no end.

Back when I was really depressed years ago, an hour run was usually all it took to make me feel better, as all the stress you had just washes away. Nothing else matters but running. In the end, you feel alive.

My advice for those who are depressed right now, go workout in the gym or go for a jog. Even if you don't feel like going, force yourself to. Your body produces endorphins that make you feel good, and if you do it regularly, you'll look good too, further boosting your self-esteem and confidence. Exercise really is nature's Prozac.

Rub on some toothpaste and wash it off after ~2mins. Sounds crazy but it works.

"True" depression doesn't really allow this though.
I think it's an important distinction to make; true depression is there even when your life is at its absolute best. I don't make this distinction to diminish temporary depression (essentially depression due to external causes), because it can and is as serious as what I consider to be real depression.
When I was at my most suicidal was the time at which I was at my supposed best. I had a girlfriend of approaching three years, I was enrolled in a good college program that would ensure future success, I had a large group of friends, I was holding a steady job that was flexible with my college schedule but still robust enough to give me a good means of living. But I still hated myself more then than I ever have. To just say "go work out, it will make you feel better" is really over simplifying things. YES working out will make you feel better, but depression sucks the desire to do anything out of you to the degree that you can't even force yourself to do it. I was in a place where I didn't eat meals purely because I couldn't be bothered to get up and eat. Wouldn't shower for days, skip all my classes, wear the same clothes for a few days, etc.
Depression, first and foremost, is illogical. I've had countless people tell me about how I'm a good looking, fun and funny dude. But it wouldn't matter how many times I heard this, the only opinion that mattered is my own, and I hated myself. And yet, from the outside looking in, I could see all of my own good qualities. Like, if you took a carbon copy of me and just put it in another body, I would be first in line to be my best friend. But purely because of the fact that my personality was in my own body, I hated myself. It was that easy.
And today, I still have a hard time dealing with my depression but I'm getting there. I have days where I don't get out of bed, but they are becoming fewer in between. I can convince myself to take a bike ride, not always, but sometimes. I eat meals regularly. Blah blah blah...

Part of me just resents when people say "do this, it will make you feel better!'
Yeah, it will. I'm not disagreeing with that. But in order to do "X," you first need some sort of motivation to do anything in the first place. And when you have life long depression, like the kind of **** you were born into, motivation to even breath is hard enough.

*I'M REALLY DRUNK RIGHT NOW AND WHEN I'M DRUNK I'M SUPER WILLING TO TALK ABOUT FEELINGS AND ****! SO SORRY PMSOCIAL THREAD FOR GETTING ALL FEELY! LET'S TALK ABOUT POKEMON OR SOME **** LIKE WE NORMALLY DO*
