I should note that thee only Gundam series I've ever watched is Gundam G when it was on Toonami.
That said, I've heard of Worm before, as the author of HPMOR recommended it and a couple fanfics for it. I remember scanning the its tropes page and not being particularly interested. What's interesting about it?
Its the scale of it. Its hard to explain, but the story takes a very interesting stance on the superhero genre, its picks up momentum and never stops.
Quote from a friend: "Really, if someone just told me "it's a story about a girl who gets superpowers", I would've been uninterested. I was skeptical for the first few chapters. After that, I was hooked. I'm pretty sure I've read more Worm in a day than I've ever read anything else. There's a lot of depth to the world and characters, and a great balance of action, drama, and suspense. There are puzzles you can spend the entire series trying to figure out, and some strong themes that cross heavily into reality. At different levels, it's mental candy and delicious mental healthfood."
It controls the scale/scope of the world its in very well, and builds it up until the point where the view of the world the story takes place in gets broken completely, then it starts again. It does such a great job op keeping you on your toes, everything is important but does come up immediately.
Plus its long AS F so you can always drop it and come back to it and have tons to read. I've been reading it for months and I'm just now almost done.
