I can see how you'd feel it wasn't that great, the movie itself doesn't give much beyond the father and son constantly doing what they can to survive including abandoning fellow humans (most of the time).
I don't think I'd be wrong in saying it really takes a certain kind of person to actually finish the film.

Considering I watched it twice in a philosophy class about the human being, I got to hear a lot about it. I didn't think it was particularly interesting though, like the rest of that class.

i gotta say though,
the more i watch top level melee, the more i'm reassured that characters are overbuffed in PM.

just look at Amsa, Fly, Axe, Plup, S2J etc.. it really shows how far you can go when you put in the time and dedication

you don't need an amazing moveset to do amazing things

you know it just kind of hit me how accessible fighting games are to the average person

like normally I think about it like "well you'd want to play with a stick that costs a lot" but no someone just won the biggest world tournament with a ps1 controller that you could buy for like 10 bucks off ebay

your FPS games will, on average need you to buy at least some new equipment like a more precise mouse or a better keyboard, if not flat-out needing you to spend hundreds on new parts to play some of the more demanding games

and meanwhile smash is just like "have a gamecube controller? glhf"
