obamacare? there's an actual non-political-as-hell name for that. uh, affordable health care act or s/t. it still doesn't really fix the main problem, the main problem being that basic health should be a right in any first world country, because keeping your people alive and proper is a pretty important deal, a half-hearted patchup that doesn't change the fact that your livelihood is based on what's in your pocket won't fix that

you wanna know why rich people can't possibly believe it'd be a bad system and think it's perfect? because when you're rich, IT IS. yr system's designed to be amazing and perfect to the overprivileged, and useless to those unluckier

Omg this is what I tell everyone. That I think everyone should have the right to ****ING SURVIVE. Then they go "I don't want to pay for their healthcare, they should pay for there own." And they don't realize that when someone is in the hospital without insurance, guess what pays for it,

I like to sometimes laugh at the bills you get for silly stuff. I got my head busted open once, walked in and out of a hospital in an hour, never heard a single word of money. that's four digits in america

I'll take some tax raising over sitting in the ER worrying about money when you should be worrying about the blood coming out of your face, tyvm

US healthcare system needs an overall, but ACA is far and away from an even remotely good solution. It's utter **** and only tags on stupid penalty fees to companies that have no need for it in the first place. Everyone at my dad's business not only already pays for regular healthcare, but the gov plan is more expensive and the company as a whole has to deduct wages to pay the penalty.

It's just... there's too many different scenarios to decide that a blanket rule (that slams smaller companies badly) is a good idea.

I love all the last minute love Wifi is getting but it's kinda unwarranted since there's already workarounds for Brawl and MKW

It still blows my mind to think that Pokemon, one of the biggest cashcows ever, is getting it's servers taken down.

Yeah... the good news is that White 2 works with my network encryption and I got baby forms of nearly all the Unova pokes(Missing Snivy and Archen, which I have in Y). I also have Platinum and Heartgold which I can use to trade things which means I can get most of the Pokedex complete in Y since I got everything I wanted/needed from Ruby/Coloseeum/XD/LeafGreen.....

I wish X and Y had worthwhile move tutors so I wouldn't have to do the move breeding in HeartGold....

The nicest thing that could possibly happen is rich people and the govt stepping up to pay for many things that should be free and are already in other countries (quality schooling, healthcare) but we know they won't because of "free market" (aka profit margins) whining. Things are gonna come to a breaking point, I won't be surprised if we have another civil war.

The scenes with Godzilla and the opposing monsters were fantastic. Easily on par with Pacific Rim, but with a very different style.
But the rest of the movie just sort of gets mucked up with the human scenes that were just poorly done compared to the monsters, in both acting and direction imo. And you know what? It's sort of funny because that's the formula that the OG Godzilla movies basically had. Terrible scenes with people coupled with sweet giant monster action. But this Godzilla movie presented itself to be more than that, and in that regard it missed the mark.

Not all the human scenes were terrible, the Japanese scientist guy was alright and also BRYAN CRANSTON

I was not impressed by Cranston. Frankly I'm more impressed with his work in Malcom in the Middle than I was here.
It just felt like he was in the movie to get people to come see it, and not much else.

Don't forget money. Honesty we are slowly reaching that breaking slowly though I bet it's gonna blow up if the Net Neutrality thing goes through and people are paying up the butt for using Netflix, Youtube, gaming online and social media on top of their monthly bill later down the line.

I don't really think we're headed for civil war so much as an uprising. Civil wars are between major factions, an uprising is the majority of the people revolting against the minority establishment. That's what out feels like to me. But Americans are too complacent to actually act on their rebellious words, I think.

I think it'll get to a point where we will. The gap between rich and poor is ever widening with the middle class rapidly vanishing. Once enough people become poor there will be outrage and there won't be any outlet but to act. Most people's outlets are technology, vacations, etc but once they become unaffordable people will begin to act.
