Sleep talk? Oh boy!

I have mild Narcolepsy. That's my contribution to this entire discussion

And yes random bro 12, Tempur-pedic is pretty amazing. Although, just like any other bed, you really have to keep it clean and clear of liquid/food/stuff getting on the mattress. A really nice bed will still get ruined.

Why is Dedede no longer a king?
Isn't he supposed to be a self-proclaimed king ?

It promotes camping
That's what I hear, but I've yet to see anyone develop or demonstrate how this stage in particular promotes defensive play and/or overly long games in a fashion that would separate it from the rest of the legal stage list.
Distant Planet's length is comparable to that of Lylat Cruise or Final Destination. Skyloft is also quite close in terms of horizontal space, but that's harder to estimate given the stairs in the middle. However, Distant Planet's platforms are within quick reach from the ground, unlike Skyloft's which can be hard to hit with even short-hopped upairs. The blastzones on Distant Planet are standard, this is not Kongo Jungle N64. It has no middle platform which makes centerstage easier to control. So what is it makes this stage so favourable to defensive play that we would ban it ?

I've experienced sleep paralysis on quite a few occasions. One of the most terrifying experiences I've ever had to deal with. Lying there totally conscious but your body completely asleep, all while sensing a menacing presence in the room, coming closer and closer to you. Then you feel weight on your back or chest, as if you're being pinned down, and it becomes increasingly difficult to breathe. You can't scream, you can't fight, you can't even move a thing. You just lie there and take it like a b*tch.

In the olden days, it was thought to be a succubus lying down on top of you while you sleep and slowly sucking away your soul. In that case, 0/10, would not want to bang ever ever again. I really don't have a choice in the matter though.

Wowwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww

So I'm remoting in to my Aunt's computer and it is literally the most infected computer I have ever seen. You can't do anything without at least 3 things popping up all over the screen. This is gonna take some work...

Well damn. If that first vid wasn't enough, this little series definitely impressed me even more. XD

Turbo Mode + TAS + A wee bit of video editing = Fairly entertaining viewing experience.

I hope more people out there make stuff like this. <3

Luckily, I've experiences sleep paralysis on one occasion.

I saw Steve Buscemi's head floating just by my bed side. His eye sockets looked a bit darker than normal, but I'm certain it was his face.

You have malware buddy
o_0 I've never had malware before...I'll fix this then.

EDIT: what are some good programs for removing malware? Norton couldn't detect anything with a quick scan, I'm going to try a system scan in a moment...

every night you wake up and can't move? I've had that once I believe somewhere around in the morning, it was kinda scary I guess but also annoying like I want to wake up now or at least talk damnit. Lately though my dreams have always had me waking up with adrenaline, after like I just tackled some guy to win a war and escape some Tron world or something.

Malwarebytes, DrWeb. Do you have Windows or Mac? My friend's Mac has adware which made the Mac experience even worse. If you don't have lots of programs just do like a clean-install and get your windows runnin smooth.

Use malwarebytes. It's free and works better than most programs you have to pay for.

On the sleep talk...lol sleep.

I use Windows, so I'll try malwarebytes, thanks you two.

And thus ends non-PM related troubleshooting, lol

Here's a cool fact for you. DID YOU KNOW a person will die of lack of sleep BEFORE they would die of starvation or thirst?

Actually I have one last question: I got the free trial and it's done detecting the threats. What do I do to, you know, remove them?

Whoa.jpg

Also, I had like 10 objects detected last time, but I double-checked and I got the insane amount it says here o_0 is this normal?

I don't know why this malware suddenly popped up so I had to get malwarebytes like you said. So, do I press a button now? Like, do I press Activate, Exit, Show Results...?

It's basically transitioning from being awake to being asleep (or I guess vice versa in some cases), and then everything goes wrong. It's being awake/aware and being sedated at the same time, so if I feel like I'm being continuously shocked or suffocated (or occasionally poked by some monster), I have to push hard to wake myself up so I can breathe easily. it's not the same as simply waking up from a dream. ...I guess you just have to experience it.

This is accurate (even the intruder in the room feeling):

Show results and then remove all the threats unless it's attached to some important data (pictures of your cat, a .mp3 song you made in rockband about global warming). I'd still back up your important stuff if you can before you carry out the cleansing, the virus usually gets angry once it's attacked

@ Giygacoal Giygacoal are you sleeping in this "suprine" position?

Only scrubs get sleep paralysis. Real men kamehameha that **** and make it wish it never visited you.

tl;dr Dream a little bigger, darling.
I can imagine when you have kids.

Kid: Mommy, I had a nightmare. Can I sleep in your bed with you?

Sapph: No. Quit being a scrub and go to sleep, sweetie. :)

Kid: :(

I'm not sure if this is the place to ask this, but does anyone have advice on how to deal with Falco's lasers?

I've been wavelanding on platforms to get away from it which seems to help a lot, but that's all I've got. I'm comboing and edgegaurding him pretty well but getting that first hit is hard as hell.

Also I've been rolling OoS to get away from shine->grab... maybe I should wavedash OoS... any advice on that would be welcome as well. I was using Zard for a reference.

That entirely depends on the environment a person is put into, and how much activity they are involved in.

The more you *actually* know

Try clicking the top most one, and then holding shift and clicking the bottom most one, and hopefully they become all highlighted and when you check one box of any of them they all should become checked.
Alright, so I removed all threats "successfully" and restarted the computer and...there are still ads on the Project M website! So is malwarebytes not actually supposed to work when you have the free trial or something? Ugh, why did all this happen so suddenly today?

Aww SpiderMad's gone...oh well, I'll figure this **** out tomorrow.

It looks like you had a lot of threats... maybe you should re-run Malwrebytes in Safe Mode.

If you don't know how to do that:
1) Shut Down your computer.
2) Turn your computer back on.
3) Hit F8 every second or so until a menu comes up allowing you to choose to start you computer in safe mode.
4) Run Malwarebytes... it may look different and your desktop background will probably be black... no worries, that's normal.

Ideally you need to run 3 programs to get everything. It's what I do and I haven't had ad/malware problems in years. Malwarebytes is one of them so you need the other two. Go get Spybot 2 and Ad-Aware, run Spybot's cleaner and then -make sure you Immunize-, then restart, then run Ad-Aware, scan, restart. You should not have anything after doing this and the Immunization makes you safe from getting them ever again.

As an added suggestion, I highly recommend getting Adblock and NoScript equivalents for your browser. Adblock will get rid of any ads online (but you can disable it on a specified site, such as swf) and NoScript will block scripts from running until you allow them, but will always allow what you decide to allow. This prevents you from having unwanted things put on your computer without your knowledge.

Lastly I recommend CCleaner for general clutter removal, but it'll take a while to explain so let me know what you want to do. Of all the steps I listed here you only need to get Spybot and AdAware to get rid of your problem- the other tips will prevent you from getting problems like this in the future.
