edit: just remember, at least sacchin's requires meter and has stupid amounts of cooldown
f-hime is worse, although technically this move does have lots of startup

edit: now your introduction to competitive melty is like almost complete: c-satsuki has vacuum hands and f-hime is stupid

upcoming lessons include: c-roa is evil and f-vakiha has infinites while c-seifu is for people who can only do one combo

Someone told me she's the closest to Millia in the game so I gravitated towards her. She's pretty fun.

Has anyone else ever experience SFV dropping to 30 frames in the menu? The rest of the game seems to sorta run fine. Actual fights are generally around 60, although lately it's been dipping as well.

I also get this issue where the game slows down when I have Twitch open.

edit: Turns out, if I raise my graphics to max, the game runs better.
I don't get it

ok but like the h-scenes are the worst part of tsukihime

and for the record, I only played tsukihime in order to find out the original backstory for melty (and I also haven't even finished it lmao)

Melty Blood characters come from hentai?

the vast majority of the characters come from tsukihime, a visual novel about vampires
len and white len come from the sequel to tsukihime
aoko is technically from tsukihime but appears in other nasuverse games like fate stay night
then miyako, wallachia, stridberg, and sion are melty blood original characters, along with variations on other tsukihime characters like mech hisui or neco arc chaos
and ryougi comes from some other series which is apparently much better than tsukihime

and sion comes from uniel Kappa

also, canonically, the ****ing cat is the most powerful character in the game

Sion is from Melty Blood. She's actually the main character of the series versus Shiki or Arcuied as most people, including myself, would normally think.

She's in UNIEL as a special guest character due to the same people making that game. Same goes for Akatsuki in that game who is from his own series as well.

Also, I'm gonna take a shot in the dark and assume I'm the only person here who has actually been playing Melty Blood since it's original release from eons back. Anybody else?

Funny thing is, I only found out about it cause I had just gotten MUGEN for the first time and Akiha was one of the first characters I ever got, was curious of who she was since I really liked playing with her and then went "What the hell is a 'Melty Blood'?", grabbed the game and the rest is history. Next thing I know, I had researched the entirety of the Tsukihime and Melty Blood verses, got into the Fate series, found out about Kara no Kyoukai which apparently happens in the next town over and watched a little something called Canaan.

There may not be a Tsukihime anime, but at least Carnival Phantasm exists and that's more than enough for the hilarity of a Melty BloodxFate crossover alone. <3
