are you really saying you prefer mashing the a button and screamrolling everywhere to having a stamina gauge that lets you sprint every once in a while
I loved mashing the A button

HAH, HYAH, HUH, HUH, HYWAH

I'm not joking
QED. There's nothing wrong with wanting to move faster in a game that boasts of having a gigantic map.

Anyway I'm done throwing my tantrun because beside that the game looks completely enjoyable. It can't get worse than SS anyway.

Yeah but some mechanisms have an interest and add depth, and then some don't. There's literally no use for a stamina jauge in a game that already has proven that it could manage "running faster" using 4 different mechanics (rolling, magic, ammunitions and just allowing a button).
I don't understand why this is a difficult concept to grasp onto. simply being allowed to run is a million times more intuitive than trying to be a knockoff sonic the hedgehog, and if you watch a skyward sword speedrun you'd know that taking into account stamina when routing is something that adds up to a huge chunk of time saved, which is precisely something which depth would fall under

Edit:
Love the idea but I think I see an issue. Replicated it a few times to be sure but it could just be a problem limited to me for whatever reason. Quick view works, but only when the PM has already been read. I wanted to test whether quick view still registered the "last read date" in the conversation participants window since I've always found that useful. What I got was redirection to the actual conversation page whenever there was a message I hadn't read yet. When the PM was read and had no new messages, quick view worked fine however.

This should be fixed now as Quick View instead loads the newest page, instead of the default Conversation functionality of pointing you to /unread if there's new posts

I just wish the stamina gauge was used during combat as well, like in Dark Souls. Having it only significantly affect your movement, read: how long it'll take you to get somewhere, seems like it'll be annoying.

Actually the stamina gauge does affect certain attacks (I think Spin Attack?).

Get a call that my dad was in a head on car crash, had some injuries but wasn't bad all things considering

Try calling him the next day, no answer

Try calling him about 3 days later, goes straight to voicemail, voicemail is full so I can't leave one either. Grandma says to not call anymore (this makes more sense if you know the full deal with my dad), I ignore her anyway and call some more times

Today marks my 4th time attempting to call and it goes straight to voicemail. I tried texting my sister today asking what's up (she lives with him and is generally about 10x more in the loop with that side of the family than I am). No response and it's been like 8 hours since I made the text

Would like to know what's going on because it sucks not being filled in with this stuff. Probably will call my aunt tommorow because she'd actually answer the phone but then I probably have to answer questions that I probably don't want to talk about

When I got the word he was in the car crash I didn't feel any emotion other than what I was feeling before then. Not sure if I'm actually ****ed in the head or if that's what happens normally. For the record I've met my dad once, about 7 years ago and that was after about 3 months of talking to him

I also stopped talking to him about 7 years ago too because reasons

drakargx drakargx Setting one's emotions aside(subconsciously or otherwise) until they can be properly dealt with is a normal, useful coping mechanism for dealing with adversity.

So I haven't posted here in like months and months and figured it'd be about time to a) give a life update and b) come back.

I see my last post was like February. Since then, played a bunch of Melee weeklies and monthlies and ended up making #8 on our top 10 local PR. Could've placed higher but the guy above me has a set on me and we never saw each other in bracket afterwards. Not a huge deal, easily fixed in the fall when I end up going from #8 to #3-4.

Got a job at a CVS. I mostly like it, though it's had its ups and downs itself because of how my boss likes to mess up scheduling, then change everything last minute to compensate. I like my coworkers though, even if we don't really have much in common, and it's money, so hey. Can't really complain all that much, even now with the night shift that kind of keeps me from being social in more ways than just Discord or the internet, which are still kind of limited anyway.

Recently had to be in the hospital for about 4 days. I had a bacterial infection in my leg that resulted in me having to visit the doctor to see what I should get from immediate care to treat it. In the process, I kind of didn't eat like a dingus, and combined with my anxiety about health care, I passed out, and my heart rate dropped super low/I stopped breathing briefly. Got rushed to the ER by EMTs who I had a similar episode with again, and was tested to see if I had seizures. Turns out I didn't, but I have neurally mediated hypertension, which TL;DR I have low blood pressure and need salt on things along with a lot of water to have a healthier heart rate and more blood in my system, because otherwise I run the risk of fainting and not being in good condition. They gave me pills for it and also some supplements to help me along with my diet, as well as antibiotics for my leg. It's all taken care of now.

The only other things that have happened are that I got a 2DS to get prepped for Pokemon Sun/Moon since it was what I could afford at the time (I blew a tire the same week so that was an expense I had to deal with), and that I've changed gamertags once again. I'm now Symphoniac. Hopefully I'll remember to ask for a swap here to make that work out, but basically it's a change I initiated when I started playing Smite for a while and wanted a different display name, and I liked it because it reminded me of one of my other favorite games next to Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door, which would be Tales of Symphonia.

Conveniently, a lot of the characters in that game have 5-letter names, so more tags for PM.

So...uh, yeah. That's catching up 4 months up to speed. I feel bad for not being around except on like Discord/Twitter. So consider this my "hey, I'm back" thing. <3

Circulatory/heart conditions are super wack.
Very. They require a lot of extensive testing and sticking needles in my arm for blood, something that I'm super anxious about in the first place.

There's also the whole "I can't sleep because I'm scared something bad will happen if I do" thing.

Bad things happen to people all the time whether they're awake or not, so you might as well just sleep so you can not be dead tired later.

Dear FL Studio Support,

I have numerous complaints about the free edition of your software. It was full of advertisements for what I can only assume is your company's other services as soon as I used the installer. I furthermore found that your download website was wholly unprofessional, and I strongly recommend that you remove the privateering theme. I would like to inform you that I am complaining to the Better Business Bureau after I close all these damn popups on my pc.

Kindly speak English please,
17 y/o so important that he got a call from Microsoft Azure just for getting free credits from MS's silly dev essentials thing

P. S. Chris from developer outreach and I are tight and he shared his contact information to me if I ever needed any help, so you guys are basically over, doneso, because I basically have audience with Bill Gates, and he will corporate takeover you guy's arses in a flash.

Sometimes stay up at night thinking, "I'm going to die."

It's not a very cheery subject. That is why I'm here, casually late at night (where I am).

Edit - Oh yeah. I had my first official alcohol.

It was at a restaurant.

Questionable if you are even alive because it is difficult to define what is living in the first place. Also the concept of self is a tenuous one. Lol, I'll quit.
I think I can get all the Malware off my PC thanks to Malwarebytes free premium trial. Sweet.
