@ CORY CORY I have a calc I exam tomorrow at 9:30am. What are some essential formulas/definitions I should have on my notecard (4"x6")? I just want to make sure I don't miss anything important on the card. I've already got progress on my notecard but just wanted to check

you only need one thing on your card:

"git gud"

but actually idk I'd just write down some derivation formulas or some trig substitution formulas, even if you don't really need anything on the card, writing stuff down and thinking about what you'll need will be beneficial

ummmm... ****, calc II is all integrations and limits and ****... let's see... i think most of the basic stuff you would use you wouldn't need formulae for (product, quotient, etc...). make sure you know your trig derivations (i.e. sins derives to cosx; cos to -sin, etc...).

if you don't remember your trig, put down the half and double angle formulae, because you use those a lot in converting the trig functions to derivable forms. and know how to chain rule (another thing that should just be easy to do without the directions or whatever).

and if your teacher is putting the basic limits and **** on the test, and they were early in the year (like mine was structured) maybe the notes on how to deal with those, since they're probably not super fresh on your mind.

uhh check /r/ssbpm they'll have it up first

on a related note I really want to make a music pack and put hips don't lie on some stage
here's my thoughts as I watch it

Holy crap why does m2k keep trying to side b onto stage wtf is he doing.

Lol, first death ding up and in against two combo moves as if zss was going to kill him with an instant aerial like sheik fair or something.

Second death was full hop weak nair into getting shield grabbed and then jumping right into a blaster as he charged it. Death at 22% (this is the method by which I beat my local fox players btw. Backthrow offstage and then shoot blaster for free gimp because they always choose the same recovery option.

Third death, good spaced bair by arcana reading m2k's side-b on stage.

Fourth death, same as second one lol.

He switched off of fox, wtf!?

(lol zss upsmash)

M2k has shino stalled into ledgehop fair every single time.

m2k just hold ledge lawl

M2K HOLD LEDGE LOL

Yeah, arcana looks really good, so big props to him. However, it really looked like m2k didn't know the matchup at all. He kept falling for the same stuff, wasn't reacting properly to zss stuff and never ever tried to punish the tether hop, something shiek and fox are both good at. Also, he just kept approaching constantly for no reason which was odd since fox and sheik can both outcamp zss. Not trying to take anything away from arcana though. m2k messing up the matchup made it closer to 50-50 so he definetely outplayed m2k that set.

Edit: Wait, m2k only used shine 4 times in that game lmao. Once for no reason when he had a free upsmash, another whiffing, once for recovery(?) and the fourth on a successful gimp. Is that normal for m2k's fox?

tournaments are cool as hell, I now know. a lot more PM players than I thought, too, it was actually about the same number as there were melee players this weekly? being able to see good players in person is incredibly surreal, because I'm used to everyone in smash just being a figment of the internet's imagination that I communicate through computers, but it's neat. also, I like @| Big D | because I no longer look like the unruly giant person when he's in the room, man is nearly 7 foot tall it's nuts

I wish I was able to stick around, but I didn't know sunday transit and I was worried that I'd have to walk to royal oak station, watch the main VSB stream so I don't feel bad pls http://www.twitch.tv/vanstreetbattle

(guess who's got two thumbs and went 0-2 in every single pool set)

Let me know if you manage to make it down to a Gameclucks in Lynnwood. I may be able to actually start going again this summer.

But he is a an a anime, Grey. He is the embodiment of sin, unstrong.
But it is the lesser of two evils. Unstrong may he be but he is not unstrong in his soul. Waifus cause those to be unstrong in body, mind, and soul.

Not to intrude or anything, but I think next month they're starting to hold the Smash monthly/FGC monthly on the same day and instead of Gameclucks they'll have it at Highline Community College in Des Moines, where NWM was held. I saw it on FB, I don't know if you did as well.

brres viewer, but it shows up like that in 3ds max too.
It looks like the rig messed up and put a bunch of bones at his feet, I was having difficulties editing Ganon because it did this when re-importing from Brawlbox it seems to be an issue with the dae exporter or importer.
I'd go over to kc-mm for more help, there are a lot of help threads and tutorials there, and if you can't find anything you can ask.

Far as I know you have to DI up and in for it (and maybe not at all works too), fthrow DI mix up gives you a good reason to that though, otherwise he can throw you off at a stupid angle from the fthrow.
Only other option is DI down+away and get tech chased (or risk the fthrow), and because of DDD's hitbox sizes, the release point being in the center of his massive body, and ROB being large with mediocre tech rolls, DDD can tech chase ROB pretty effectively. The tech chase is the less of two evils, but even if you tech roll in he he can dsmash to cover several options including roll in, meaning you can't just eat a punishment at center stage, instead you get sent off exactly where you don't want to be against DDD, leaving the safest option to be roll away, but if he reads for that you get boned even harder because then you're at the edge in DDD's hands
