I took a nap. Or given the length of time, I guess you could call it catching up on sleep. Also, I completely forgot whatever breakthrough I made on pointers that gave me a shot at being in pointer nirvana. Son of a *****. Back to thinking about them the way everyone else does.
I'm still able to speak and type coherently in various states of sleep-deprivation, it's just my thoughts get hazier and go in directions they don't normally. I've actually done some of my best coding in this sort of state, so it's a shame I didn't have an ongoing project right then(that's next monday!), or I'd have done some creative stuff.
Also, fever dreams are the nuttiest. I had one in which I was a trophy spouse, I don't remember if I had a hot rich husband or wife, it was oddly unclear. Might not have been human. But it allowed me to sit around, look pretty, play games(we had a PM 5.0 based off of Sma5h and Scorpion from Mortal Kombat was in it? Also Sma5h only had 20 characters and was a better game for it), and code games for fun. But it's like, I do that anyway? Well, except for the code games part, because I don't have the time for it, because I need to work and earn money...So I guess this would actually work out pretty well?
Fever's gone, and my mental landscape is once more boring. I'm relieved.
I've also realized that I've hit a wall with Ike. Ganondorf feels like a lot of fun, though, so maybe I'll play him for a bit and pick up some skills when I come back to my true love. Any skills that transfer well between the two? I'm guessing spacing aerials, to start.
