The character is good, this is undeniable, but it takes more than just picking him for anyone to win. If it was really cheap. you could enter a Melee tourney with Fox and win the whole thing. However, consider you'd just get shut down and swept out of the tourney in a matter of milliseconds, that's not the case.

So do me one tiny favor and try using your brain to actually think critically, analytically, thoroughly and intelligently before making such a statement or any other post from this point on, will you?

I'd just recommend making sure the other person in the relationship is mentally/emotionally healthy before committing to it. Sometimes its worth it for Love, but from personal experience on both sides of the coin it can only stay a healthy relationship for so long.

And I'm not talking like, "dont put your **** in crazy." I mean relationships are really hard to maintain when either side can't actually communicate things properly, or things get misinterpreted because of things like that.

Arguably he might not be a troll.

But his mere presence alone has a certain stigma that just riles people up.

For project M people, it riles us up with curiosity and heavy teasing since he never clarifies on why he doesn't like the things that he claims he vehemently hates.

For Smash 4 people, it makes them angry because he's buying all the amiibos from everyone else out of spite for characters he doesn't like in gaming.

When not confronted he has said nothing out of line, but does have arguably misinformed opinions, and seems to be stuck in his ways without change.

So at base level, he's about equivalent to people who hate project M solely because it's a mod. He just happens to have some infamy due to his actions elsewhere.

I don't really think that's grounds for him being removed from the smash 4 or the project M section, or any section of smashboards, but because of his own actions, no matter where he goes, he is liable to scrutiny from anyone who has any knowledge of him.

Edit : I want to add a little more to this.

His own actions have garnered so much infamy that even having that name is a problem. He hasn't broken any rules, but having that name is a big target so not being allowed to post, while unfair, protects him from harmful posts that will inevitably happen.

The literal only solution, while even though against smashboard rules (They would probably make a special exception in this case) is to make another account, one without a name closely associated with his previous identity, along with not revealing who he is to people, in order to have a fair chance at discussion.

I can guarantee that every joke towards him would stop, but many people would still not agree with his opinions. He wouldn't be the butt of the joke everywhere though and at most would be as bad as half a D-idara.

To be blunt, if you want to wait a little, that's cool, but no sense in dragging things out or getting the wrong message across. If you like her and are really attracted to her and want more out of it, tell her. Suck up whatever fears, paranoia and bravado you have and just tell her straight up. That's where it all starts. You may not get an answer by the way, you may even get turned down one moment but accepte the next after she's had some time to mull over it, but just be honest with her and yourself.
