Haha, my opinion is yours, honestly. Except that I think Sonic is worse than Lucas. If you've seen a really good sonic in action, you'd know what I mean. Even so, there was still a lot I couldn't do to punish some of the things you were doing. You have really good spacing and execution, but you're often predictable with how you move about the stage and react to certain situations. If I could have punished more efficiently, I think you'd hate Lucas even more right now.

I think if you just mixed up your stuff and didn't go just for what you know, you'd be a much, much more efficient player. Also, realize that picking FD on wifi and spamming projectiles isn't something that's an effective strategy that carries over offline. As it was, I got several % absorbs from Falco lasers that just plain weren't necessary/were obvious because you always opted for them when I gave you the space.

With Bowser, your M.O. was basically always to either Up-B or side-b whenever I was close. I agree side-b is underused and is a really good move, but once I caught on that that playstyle wasn't just you trolling me but rather how you play normally, I could very easily bait it out, or work around whatever you threw out instead. I saw few jabs, which are a good option, and few ftilts. Probably could use more utilt and dtilt too, but you did use those appropriately when you did. Like I said, most of your problem is that you just don't mix-up your options enough. Also, even with the online/HDTV input/execution difficulties, Bowser is easy as hell to combo, and offline doesn't show him any mercy. Trust me, I know the struggle since I too play Bowser. Part of it is that Lucas is OP, but keep in mind that Lucas wasn't the only character I got off with either, just the easiest to combo to a great extent with.

Also, use Bowser's back-thrown-Side-B. It's particularly effective on heavies/fast fallers, especially if they think the forward one is coming and DI it wrong. Bair is a good option I didn't see used much either. Other than that, you have good knowledge of when to use certain moves with a character, just improve your mixups, baiting, and defensive skills. On that last note, I feel I should mention that getting in on you was the hard part, but once I was there, you usually succumbed until I messed up/left myself pretty open.

Made a lot of mistakes myself, but I'll spare you the listen. That one time when you f-smashed my Samus on the ledge and I DI'd so well I went under FD slightly before careening off... lmao, I wanted to save that, but we would have disconnected. That moment will live in my heart forever though.

Nah man, Sonic is poisonous to this game, with Mario coming in a close second. Lucas is bad but not as bad as those two. But I still hate Lucas with a passion lol, getting insane damage off of poorly spaced moves or a pk freeze, pretty much my main gripe with the character.
