They'll only show up as Online once they've added you back, and are online. Otherwise they'll just be shown as Offline.

And for some reason, I've been stuck at the "Connecing to WFC..." screen for about 2 mins now..

They have to add you back in order for them to appear online, if they added u back then they might just be offline

Idk, I got a noisy game freeze so I shut it down real quick.

Purple Marth can't be picked on teams. And remember I'm also using a few textures now, it might be me, I'm the one freezing.
