I decided to jump on the critique bandwagon. I know some people specialize in "you could have done Y at X:XX," which I don't mind, but, I'm looking moreso for general things.

vs PC Chris:

My preliminary thoughts:
1. Bad ledge choices. Too anxious to leave the ledge, and bad choices when I do. LDHLs too high, or opponent too close when I attempt them.
2. Poor ledgeguarding.
3. Tech skill could be better.

i watched you vs Pc and you seem technical enough but you do a lot of...nothing.

i dont know how to explain it, im also not sure if its your playstyle, or if you were just sandbagging hard because its friendlies, but imo it didnt look like you wanted to win at all.

In general, you jumped around a lot with empty short hops and in general left yourself vulnerable for no real reason for i can think other than "mindgames".
dont get me wrong, im all for the occational empty hop->grab or something for the surprise factor, but there were lots of cases were you would be doing almost nothing productive.

and for some reason you seemed reluctant to edgeguard him, like he would be goign for the obvious side-b to the ledge and you would jump, or do nothing. i was expecting a dsmash or run off dj dair or something....

and lasers, you never shoot them. like...ever. so many times PC would just be running around and getting free hits because you just let him.
again i can only assume it was because it was friendlies that you didnt bother trying to contain him with lasers.

Thats about all i can come up with, its hard to give on vids where you dont seem to be really trying much :/

best falco everrrrr, his only weakness, my fox =)
**** i will **** your fox up **** that ******* ***** with a screwdriver, throw him up a down escalator. Cause I'm an uptight **** ****** ****** ************ ******** ****** Buster ********** ***** ***** ******* ****** ******* **** *** you old horny ****.

I <3 arrested development.

But yeah JPobs, that lax style is my playstyle. The laser game was rough because PC stayed in range and whenever I'd even think of lasering, his nair would be in my jaw.

The edgeguarding is definitely a weakspot, I blame g$.

just go for the guaranteed more often. u have some cool concepts but sometimes they just dont work mid combo. and edge guard with lasers and run off dairs or something.

i counted 17 miss techs.... IN ONE MATCH.

press the l or r trigger after you are attacked and hit a surface such as a floor, wall, or ledge to tech and instantly recover.
don't make me tell the tope story.

only watched the first match, great shield pressure way to mix up double shines and shine grabs, good comboing. All i really saw, was a lack of trying to space? You let him get in on you too much, space bairs keep him out. You rarely keep your back turned to him, having your back turned to him isn't bad like i said bair the **** outta him. The one time you did have your back turned to him you walked away and did a predicable fsmash that was shielded. when you were facing him, in situations where you shouldn't be, you could almost see the awkwardness of the options you were forced to take. good **** tho <3

watched a couple other matches and ya same thing not enough spacing, NOT ENOUGH BAIRS. your always facing him and never have your back turned.
