There's certainly a lot here. If any one of these things are wrong, whoever the leaker is will be discredited. In my opinion, it's strange to stick your neck out that far...

However, he/she is being selective, choosing to reveal some things over others (but he/she hints to things that he/she isn't revealing). Then again, it isn't direct; it's stated through a source (that isn't the dumb "my father" thing).

This is what we should discuss:

"Star Fox

Keep in mind that Brawl's roster was leaked, without a picture, and it included Wolf and ROB and others that nobody at the time believed, because Krystal was the "most probable" back then due to certain things revealed by Alésia Glidewell.

Also, Gematsu had no pictures, and his/her information was probably outdated, but it was actual information though.

I'm either against leaks or very critical on them, but I just hope that newcomer wasn't someone misinterpreted as returning vet.

But please be cautious everyone, don't expect it or you will get hurt. I very much want to believe this but I also don't want to be disappointed.

Referring to a few pages ago, the Gematsu leak is not fake by any means. It probably was just giving some characters but not all and who knows what else was decided from that leak to current development.

Also, what's been bothering me is how undermined Krystal's chances are. Granted, she is nowhere near a shoe-in, but she has far more of a chance than what most people say. Take a look at what we've had: Little to no Star Fox news, a stage refering to a game she takes a prominent role in, and the sole fact that she has outlasted a multitude of desired characters. I think her chances are far greater than that of Isaac, Lip, and even Ridley. (Sue me.) I'd make this point on the OCDT, but I'd get criticized for having an opinion on a character that isn't in the norm.

Well I meant in that it isn't fake, but that it has been wrong. Going 8 for 11 and calling out the Mii Fighters actual names and the obscure Wii Fit Trainer is no lucky guess.

Also, while I'd like for it to be real, it clearly isn't. Just like any other leak that's surfaced after the FE trailer.

It really could have been a lucky guess, there are tons of these and one could have happened to be really on the money. And what did you think about that other "leak" I posted? Well as many have stated, we saw this leak back in 2012, coinciding with the start of Smash's development. What was decided back then was subject to change throughout the development process, so what we were given might have been what was intended to be put in the game. So, Chrom was planned, but then replaced for someone who could have been a better rep. More characters were probably decided or just not given in general. Chorus Men may or may not still be in based on the hardware of the 3DS, but I think they're solid.

Also, the leak you gave me just seems like a harmless little thing. While I'd love for a lot of it to be true, it just doesn't seem to be of fact to me. I mean, they REALLY boned Shulk on his moveset.

That new leak is really silly in that it describes newcomers without actually listing them. (in some cases) They clearly don't know anything because if they did they would just state them.

I feel like they may take her assault outfit and maybe have the adventures. Hopefully they get creative though. Fox alternate could have his adventures outfit. I liked it. Even though they look similar to his others I just want him to be sleeveless. XD

Today was a pretty rough day for me because I really wanted Takamaru. I really hope Krystal doesn't share the same fate and makes it as a playable character, because if Takamaru was able to put me in such a slump Krystal being confirmed as an Assist rather than playable will really do a number on me. Same here buddy. I can just see it and my in my head it makes all the sense in the world. (I'm not being biased because I feel that way for other newcomers as well.) We must believe and keep the dream going! Her chances are good.

If she didn't make it this time around it would just feel EXTREMELY disappointing. I mean, I'd get over it eventually, but I would be frustrated that yet again Sakurai rejected the opportunity to have as unique and interesting of a character as Krystal.
She has so many things going for her. Another Female rep and also the first SF female, Refereshing fighting style (combat staff), Unique design (not just another busty or blonde human girl lol) to name a few.

I already felt that Brawl was the perfect chance for her inclusion- but she missed the boat there. To top it off it was such a tease having her as nothing but a Trophy and a Codec Easter egg in Lylat Cruise. Haha, I use to go to that stage all the time just so I could see her in the codecs and sadly sigh at her missed inclusion.

Personally I think she deserved to get in before a few of the Newcomers we have already seen in Smash 4, I don't agree with people saying she's in the back of the line as far as priority. She's deserved a chance for a long time now.
I just hope Smash 4 will be that chance.

I would be happy with just Krystal regardless of what newcomers may come following that inclusion. Six years is a long time. I wouldn't wanna wait that long for a third chance. By then, I'll have lost all interest in Smash and will have moved on to more productive and meaningful things, like the latest installment of Resident Evil.

If this leak is true, I doubt it'd be a curve-ball Star Fox character. Look at the Zelda section, it states:

">Newcomer that most people don’t want, controversial character."

Star Fox's section has nothing like that describing its potential newcomer. It'd probably be Krystal.

That could be anyone from Star Fox. That could be Andross for all we know.
