What is the best way to practice Uair combos?

Ex.
Uthrow-Uair-Knee
Dair-Uair-Knee
or any combo that has Uair/Nair and ends with a knee

Everytime I try to Uair-Knee, I usually miss because the opponent flew too far, I used a jump, or wrong %

Well, of course every char will have different %s that the nair and/or uair to knee combo will land on. On marth it works right away...others like Ganon its around 50%....floaties like luigi it barely works....and don't even bother on space animals because you can kill them in easier ways than this aerial chain. It's up to you to learn what percents it will work on certain chars.

But, to answer your question, I would do the up throw chain. When I practice I face lvl 1 Ganon in versus so I can c-stick uair (much easier imo than using control stick for it).

Ganon is a good choice for this because you have a large margin of damage to keep trying the combo on him until he dies. At around 45% you can do the up throw to nair/uair to knee chain. At high 60%-70%s you can go straight from a shffl'd nair off the ground into some aerial combos. At 100% just up throw to knee him because you can't do any aerial chains from there.

Practice starting with Big Heavy Characters
get them to around 35 50 percent and than Stomp or Raptor boost
then just try to SHUFFLE as many U airs as you can

For the U-air combos try to get the U-air right underneath them or else they will fly too far forward. I learned this today.
