Advanced techs aren't to difficult to learn the hard part is getting it to perfection by watching pros it does help improve your game and Brawl will probaly feature the same advanced techs. So I want to be ready when I face people online who can do advanced techs.

I dunno. So far brawl seems like some half ***** noob magnet game with a bunch of cool super strong DBZ looking type moves.
I do slightly agree with you in where you're coming from. But somebody else mentioned in another thread that, like with melee, they didn't really show hardcore technique in the very first video's that came out about melee and the instructional inside the game is lame as hell. I keep that in mind and hope to piss that halburton doesn't botch this up and make this a dbz wanna-be or a game that power's the noob over the devotion-to-this-game-to-the-point-of-learning-all-the-advanced-tech's master.

I ask this merely as a question, not as a "I'm ****ed if there's no waveshining" comment:
I think the shine will be cancellable, but in a completely different manner. In SSB, it was canceled from landing; in SSBM, we can JC it into anything (up-smashes, waveshine, throws, etc). SSBM made the shine highly versatile (almost overkill, actually). So, this question has some parts: (1) Do you think the shine will be cancelable?; (2) will it cancel the same? will the way you cancel change drastically or minimally?; (3) how important is this factor in SSBB's success?
Okay, time to argue, flame, whatever makes you guys happy :)

I'd imagine that DI will return in Brawl, but I guess the others are debatable. Oh well, I guess we'll just have to wait and see.
