I can't believe I don't remember reading that last sentence. This was a good find. I hope Sakurai updates this soon and tells us what this method. Also I forgot the part where he says the harder level you play then the greater the awards. That means me n my brother are going to havta play Subspace on Intense level first for we can get everything the first time!

wow i completely forgot about that, and after reading that update i realize i forgot about all the info it has. in one screenshot when choosing characters it says members: 3 at the top. could this mean u can also do 3 or 4 player co op?

as for the powering up, perhaps there is team moves that certain characters have. maybe they can even be used in brawl mode. it seems theres a little more focus on teams after its popularity in melee.

Shortly after the actual gameplay begins, you can see Donkey Kong hit a block of some sort and a "smash coin" or something pops out, making him grow.

I believe that's what it is.

Marvel Vs. Capcom
MVC2.
My personal favorite: Rival Schools and Rival Schools: Project Justice.

I'm QUITE positive the 'never before seen' method means 'never before seen in a smash bros game'. It'd be kind of hard to come up with something effective that has NEVER been used before.

Maybe when you play you beat on someone and if you do enough damage it counts more and more on like, say, a gauge. And when you've filled it up you can use a different set of attacks kind of like Wario man. Just an idea..

I can't remember which thread I saw this in, but someone posted a pic of fox taken from one of the subspace videos, where it looked like Fox had some sort of "Gauntlets" around his fore-arms. The pic was pretty blurry, but it did lead to some interesting speculation about equippable upgrades, such as boots that may power up your kicks, or maybe gloves that have a freezing effect upon touch. I've been wanting this update more than a character update ever since Sakurai hinted about it.
