Potential 0 death kill for falco on JJ

Hey, so I kinda posted something dumb earlier but I decided to post this to make up for it. Well, I think I found something that might help falco out on JJ. Lets say you are fighting a Metaknight on JJ. You get him in a chain grab, you spike him into the water, but he is able to jump out and recover. :(

However, if you catch him in chain grab on the main platform, and you spike him into the water on the LEFT side. You might be able to make sure he doesn't get out. Basically, all you have to do is CG spike him into the water, and RIGHT AFTER you spike him, you run off the platform into the water too. But as you run off the platform, you must hit your laser twice. If you shoot your laser right after you run off the platform, the second laser should hit the opponent and cause him to stay in the water for just a little bit longer.

I think this should work with any character you are able to Chain Grab spike. You will be amazed at how easy it is to time the laser too.

Also, I am not exactly POSITIVE that this works. But I DID test it on a few friends and the computer. I can tell a big difference when I hit them with the laser and when I don't.

Anyways, I thought I might share this with you guys. I'd appreciate your thoughts and honesty about this subject. I hope this actually works because it can be very useful if perfected. And it would also be another reason why Falco ***** on JJ.

---Another Subject---

This is just a tip in case the main subject fails lol. Uhh if you set your R button to your special (or L, depending on which one you use to sheild). You can use the short hopped illusion much quicker. And you will be on the ground faster at the end of it. It helps out a lot.

Should work if you hit with the laser. Not sure how slow the laser is for hitting them but a few characters (meta/Marth) might be able to up + B through it.

Though if they fear the CG spike they can just camp you out for damage. Just sayin'.

Yes I know its IAP, but I notice a lot of falcos do it the other way (jump then press b over real fast) and that takes longer. If you set your R button to your special then you can do it real fast.

It's a cool idea but with the klap trap coming out twice ever 10 seconds it seems a little to risky for me. They always come out at the same time i'm not sure but I think it is X:X7 and X:X2. I'm not for sure but it might be off by a second or two.

Last time I jumped in the water on purpose as Falco, I got klapped, and it lost me the set. Woulda put me up to guaranteed 4th I think. (I got 4th anyway lulz).

Is twice every 10 seconds accurate?

You mean once every 5 seconds? Yeah, that's about right.

I just claw the controller whenever I'm going to use IAP. It's just easier for me and less controls to configure.

Yes, X:X7 on the upstream hole and then X:X2 on the downstream hole.

Edit: whoa, two replies before I had time to post...

Once. Its the same klap. at 07 it appears at the right side. At 03 it jumps at the left side.

So, is this legit or not? I'm trying it out right now

Edit: This is legit and works on Metaknight any character Falco can CG as long as you aim the lasers right

This is exactly the thing that J4pu told us a while back. He told us the same thing about running off the stage with lasers to prevent the person from coming back up on JJ.

does anybody do the guaranteed 0-death on Japes?

the one where you CG> spike into water (left side) then fall down yourself at the right time and laser to interrupt them from getting out? (then recover yourself of course)
I think I know the answer to his question now. lol

Looks like something for me to learn, although it seems risky if you miss with the lasers against metaknight and then he gimps you while you're trying to get out of the water (I suppose this is what practice is for).

There's also the risk of the klaptraps which have already been mentioned.

klap traps are predictable... either try to spike into a klap trap for the kill or else follow and laser, depending on the time in the match.
