Poll: Best doubles partner for Snake

Whenever I watch team tourneys, I always watch for moments when the fighters chain moves together into an effective offense. But when watching some other tourneys, certain teams will look more or less cohesive. That got me wondering. Who is the best partner for each character? Well, since I’m a casual Brawler, and I don’t have the expertise to judge, so why not ask the experts? I originally tried this on GameFAQs, but the users in general were immature, or not qualified to give the information. Then I remembered the specific boards on Smashboards, so I brought the poll here. So who do you think the best partner is for Snake?

Snake is able to control the center of the stage fairly easy. He's best paired with:
-A character that has a gimping/edge guarding game that is superior to his.
-A character that can output quick damage. Up Tilt is almost guaranteed a kill at 120%.

I won't vote, because there are too many great combinations due to what Snake offers. Even Snake and Mario make a great team. =p

MK of course

The best combination is definitely metaknight because metaknight is the best and racking up damage and practically every move snake has can be a knockout move. That alone is enough reason to go with meta not to mention wat Ran Iji said

the only other character with a better edge game than meta is marth. Plus there’s also the Ugrab claymore combo.

The list goes on and on. Why wouln’t you make a team with the two best characters in the game how could you go wrong with that ?_?

Jigs. My tourney partner plays as Jigs and we usually do pretty well or even win.

ganondorf... lol he has to have some use =P
the theory is since snake controls the stage ganon doesn't move as much and pwns..

the reality is that ganon sucks.. lol..

ike or marth.. but ike is slow
mk is good to and mario is a good idea =P

another snake would be fun 2 XD
u could blow up the hole gronud on smashville or something

my partner is a ganondorf and we have made it well... ganondorf can endure, and their choke is pretty useful to combo and for having cheap kills for snake

Metaknight is so good for the up throw - C4 combo,and for the edgeguarding as well but snake is not so free to bast off the stage to make the team win

I'm going with King Dedede again because of his ability to rack up damage very fast and has the ability to K.O. very easily with the help of a partner.

Snake + Snake seems to do good, Ftilt locks everywhere and double Utilt kills ftw

C4 upthrow is awesome, but I say Falco would be awesome. Chaingrab to Snake Fsmash is too much beast.

Prolly mk, mk has a really good air game to make up for snakes and he can handle some of snakes bad match ups well. He also racks up fast damage for easy kos.

my vote has to go to MK after watching m2k and court play with each other in teams at FAST. the obvious reason is the tornado and how fast MK can rack up damage. but the other reason is that you can sticky MK and have him uthrow someone while exploding the c4 which is an instant kill. i watch them do it many times.
