Pokken Fighters: It's an actual thing now!

Still upsetting to see half of the roster being Gen 1 and Gen 2/5/6 getting one Pokemon each lol

I go on the technicality of Weavile being an evolution of a Gen 2 and Lucha chu being a variation of a Gen 1 that debuted in Gen 6 to balance it out a little.

Poor Gen 5 though. It went out of it's way to have Pokemon based on real world martial arts and the devs say: "Make a Chandelier moveset"

I do wonder how things went with their decision process. It'd be interesting to look at, at least.

And we may still get postgame content. I hold by what I said in my video about Mienshao feeling like the most likely Fighting type to get the nod next.

Yeah, Mienshao needs mor love. And not the kind that it currently gets along with Gardevoir and Lopunny.

Lopunny would be cool too.

Well Pokken finally came in the mail!

I got the controller in my hand and it feels great. Like a Snes controller with better ergonomics.

That's awesome news! I don't think I'm picking up a copy of my own until the summer, but the two Mewtwos have me the most excited to play. Apparently, normal Mewtwo's special moves consume Synergy Gauge, and Shadow Mewtwo's special moves all cause recoil damage, despite having the lowest health in the game. He can heal on command, though, which is pretty cool.

I guess BOSS Shadow Mewtwo deosn't take any recoil, ergo brokeness.

Good game Nintendo, I must say that you put in a decent effort to wow the fans. Overall, I'm only satisfied by the support characters, and the stage selection. Nintendo, you could've made the roster larger, with some of the underused characters, and you could have also included more contentment later to come out in summer, or winter of 2016-2017.

Total score for Pokken: 70%/100%. The game is only lacking my favorite character, and the stage selection is very limited in my opinion. Also, not exactly what I was hoping for, especially after the slight disappointment that I got from smash bros DLC.

Overall, good job, and keep up the good work. I expect Better games later this year Nintendo. Don't let your fans down.

Sunk a few hours into the game today. It's pretty dope. Gengar feels super versatile and is my favorite so far, but I really want to try Mewtwo once I unlock him.

Blaziken, Gardevior, Pikachu Libre, and Machamp are pretty cool too.

I love the character put into the animations! Chandelure has an intro where it literally talks to one of its Will-O-Wisps and giggles! If it loses the first round, one of its eyes twitches while it laughs maniacally. I cannot wait to try out the others!
