I feel like I am forgetting someone.

AD was really really amazing, I am sad Adriel does not main PT anymore.
typh is the people's champ.

toby was really good, really surprised me with how he did vs So Cal.

In friendlies at Genesis Luis 3 stocked me and typh and toby as well I believe in the first games. We all did better after but he still destroyed.

miles has a good point, he's played reflex, typh, toby, AD, ziggy, mata, toby...don't think he's played magik or kith but that's a lot of the old PTs.

Ok, so I've had enough lurking and reading this thread about Pokemon Trainer PR and who will be our top players and how they will fit that qualification. Activity has nothing to do with rank.

I'm coming out and admitting the past year hasn't been the best for me. I had to put down Brawl because of a very personal matter last year. I've been out of it for a year now with no real reason to come back. However I'm slowly climbing out of the hole I was placed in and I'm starting to think about getting back into the Smash scene again. By no means am I making excuses for myself for putting down Brawl. As soon as I find a job to give me funds, I'm going to take baby steps back into the smash scene by going to a couple of tournaments. I'm still going to be using Pokemon Trainer as my main (With Toon Link by his side as well). So I'm making this message: Don't count me out just yet.

However, as flattering as it was to see my name recommended for #5, I would only agree to that if we were still in October of 2010. That was when my skills landed me mid-rankings in tournaments and I was slowly climbing. Right now, I can't even get past last place, so I don't even want to be considered for PR. For now, I'm going to continue lurking around when I feel like visiting the sight and will work on getting my self in place to re-enter the smash scene.

To be more on topic:

5)Mata?

I'm not too sure about my bottom 3. However I've always seen 1-4 as good players. Mata, well only through video's and alot of people giving him hype do I think he might deserve #5. I don't know him all too well so I can't be for sure.

Alright well the fact that a PR is supposed to be currently active players who have made or are making it to tournaments currently.......which is why honorable mentions are around to mention great players that have been inactive then I give up.

I give props to toby,reflex, mata, and IRL.

Zigsta switched main's, typh is inactive.....I can keep going down the list but Ive done it before

Who's actually active beyond Reflex and Mata this is what needs to be known

Well I don't think thats the case if magik is still an active PT playing majority PT. As I have been discussing this is all about activity with PT, and from what I've been told Magik has been active but not with PT.

There will be an honorable mentions section but the PR has to be up to date and accurate so unless magik is being active with PT then it looks like an honorable mention. And I'm pretty sure flayl did not list magik in the most recent PT's being active and placing results.

The list is still standing as

2. Mata
3. CoonTail

I have no other info on from or on the other PT's outside of inactivity so if anyone wants to give their 2 cents as to what their status is then this can be updated.

So cmon guys lets hear who's still around playing PT consistently and being active in tournaments along with here on the PT boards.

Isn't BlazingKatakiri active?

He's the only PT main I can think of off the top of my head who's active.

According to Flayl he's only put up 2 tourny results at all recently so if he wants to be considered thats fine I just havent seen anything from him....just from other people, and after what flayl said he just didnt seem that active.

Oh btw zigsta I saw you asked for someone to take other the tourny results thread I believe and I would be happy to figuring I'm always here on the PT boards.

Yeah, I'm looking for someone to take control of the Hall of Fame and Video Thread. If no one would like to do it, though, no worries.

its been like more than a year since i switched to ice climbers
i havent entered a tournament in six months

i quit brawl i'm never coming back

i can't emphasize ^^that^^ enough
it's not a question of "inactive" or "if i did play"
my life is pretty amazing right now for many reasons and ive moved on

What are your thoughts on this topic reflex? Seems you're the only one who hasn't put their 2 cents in. Its as valuable as anyone else.

Lol I think luis knows hes one of the few left....and knowing him he's looked through this and seen theres barely enough of us to put on the PR

Oh I know Mata what Im saying is it's his opinion but with so many candidiates knocked out due to quitting or inactivity it leaves any list not looking to different.

People keep posting other players then they come in and say take them down.....so it seems like opinion or not options are beyond limited.

*EDIT* the point of the topic is to create a PR.....from fact and activity opinion can only go so far against fact

Lol the only reason I say your a troll is because I was personally trolled a bit by you back in the day. It never took away from you being a good player or source of knowledge and as I said a bit back you taught me how to handle the boards.

I really hope everything stays good in life for you typh.....maybe one day you'll come back
