The crowd stood in shock. Meowth had been right. They were turning on their own.

But they didn't have long to mourn.

"Ledian! Ledian, get up!"

There was a shuffle as the crowd parted around the bug, unconscious and struggling for breath. Meowth rushed over. To their horror, there, in his friend's abdomen, was the imprint of the final blow that had felled Zangoose.

Tyranitar grinned silently, and before anyone could react, he had Ledian's ball in one clawed hand.

He sneered, and growled a single word, crushing it to pieces.

"Law."

And with that, the loss began to sink in. Terrible, terrible things had happened this day. None dared speak.

The briefest of noise came from the assembly's fringe. It was involuntary, it was unassuming. But in the light of what had just been witnessed, it was as loud as hell's own thunder.

The crowd turned in confusion. The Hypno stared back, nonchalant.

Golem marched up to him, put to the edge of grief with all that'd happened. He grasped the Hypno's arm. "How dare you."

He stuffed the Hypno's Poké Ball in its mouth as he began to give off a dazzling, dangerous light. The crowd dispersed in a panic, and the Hypno struggled to break free of Golem's grip, but it was too late.

In a blinding flash, it was over, and the Hypno and its destroyed ball laid flat and defeated on the earth.

Real talk, "Golden's Revenge" is one of my favorite Mafia moments right now. Only way it could have been more hype would be if Holder was the last Mafioso.
