POKÉMAFIA: TOWN WINS

Don't **** on the hosts for this.

Then again, I didn't get my Pokemon name in my PM and had to ask for who the heck I was...

I wouldn't recommend that.

All that would likely do is automatically kill Shoe since he would be the only option left to vote for due to his challenge.
I didn't know my alignment until Shishoe asked and I just told him I was 3rd party because of that and I didn't know my abilities got upgraded until I was told. I have every right to blame them.
And fine, I won't do that even though I'd feel really satisfied with myself for that.
I'll just wait 3 more hours to be informed that I died (which I already knew) :/

I might post screenshots just to end this already.
Getting host-lynched sounds much better than getting killed by a bunch of idiots.
Gonna write a longer version of my reply so you can see how you could ruin this for everyone if you do that by giving you the "worst case scenario"

Godie is doing a kamizake. Such an ability could be given to pretty much any faction, be it mafia, town or even third-party. But since I'm doing a worst case scenario right now, let's assume he's townie. That means one dead townie.

Then, let's assume his target, Lib, is also a townie because "worst case scenario"

Add a third one if Ram's desperado on Pokechu fails.

If you decide to get yourself host-killed, Shoe becomes the only voting option due to hisa challenging ability, so he dies by default. On top of that, your fate is linked with Opo's, so he would die too. That would mean, in a worst case scenario, that five townies die today.

Add to that the two townies that died last night and the one that will die tonight and that's a total of eight townies dead.

If there are five mafiosos, which is likely due to their being 18 people here, the mafia automatically wins in this worst case scenario.

honestly, the alignment shoulda been made clear.

But not getting to know about gaining new abilities or even that your abilities don't actually work as they do (e.g see: insane cop role) is a fair and common thing to do.

That's actually a good point. We should've been given our alignment.

I only knew I was a townie because my abilities scream "townie"

oh snap I didn't even consider there to being 5 mafia's. Just so used to almost always having 4 . best case scenario I guess would be those that could die being roughly half mafia half town, so that gives us some time.

...gotta work on my game again if this is ending so quickly...

Again, however, this is just a worst case scenario.

Only saying 5 because there's a bit more people that usual.

4 mafiosos in an 18-people game seems little.

I don't think I'll play Mafia again
It's a pretty mentally exhausting game.

With that said, I can give part of the blame to the hosts for not giving the alignment from the get go. That's just a stupid idea.

Especially since Seviper and Zangoose had an additional win condition, which could make it seem they're third-parties.

Welp, now there's no reason not to edit my posts anymore.
Then again I also don't have a reason to post here at all :/

I doubt Opo would die even if their fates are linked because of a hostkill, that'd be just punishing a player for another's mistake.
Same for my challenging ability, if he died, then I'd win by default, or at least I assume I would.

No, those things are not fair or common at all.
Players should be informed of all their abilities from the get go, or at least hinted at them. Especially stuff that outright changes your alignment. You know what I'm talking about, White.
And Insane Cop is a terrible role to have, don't even think about using it, guys.

"worst case scenario", Shoe

With that said, I didn't really think of those

Wouldn't it be nice if it wasn't my first instinct to keep something I was told in a DM a secret?
I mean how stupid can someone be to not reveal something they were told in private? /s

I have no idea what you mean with this but I feel like it's directed towards me.

I have a feeling that Opo is mafia and now that we're both gonna die, no one is going to give a **** about me because yay we killed a Mafia member, who cares about the dead townie!

I wouldn't be happy about it if it's a 50/50 no matter what happens.

Because in a way, we would've made literally no progress since both sides lost one.

Mafia's life would be harder because there's not a lot of them though, but still...

Amazing. Ram had more than half the board, and it's Lib that gets picked. :p
lol, thats rng for you in a nutshell XD
whelp our original plan went straight to hell
Better change my target, I guess.
plz, pick a bargain bin from the suspicious pile

Rundown as to why I believe Lampy is Mafia:
-Apollo(Seviper) was confirmed as Town due to his death and there's no way two opposing roles are on the same side.
-Lampy claimed the exact same abilities that Apollo has. "Oh but then how would he guess that?" Apollo claimed to Opossum and Opo likely gave everything away to Lampy as he already knew Apollo was his rival when he claimed to me.
-Zangoose having some sort of protection negator makes no sense, there's no mention of Seviper being bullet or lynch proof.
-At the same time, Zangoose MUST have some sort of protective ability bevause otherwise Seviper had an useless ability, which means Lampy is hiding an ability from us.
-"They're now useful and can affect anyone" is complete bull**** because why the **** would a Townie want to remove protection from others? It would make sense for one specific scum role with a -proof ability but not to the whole Town where it can end Doctor's protections or take their -proof abilities away(like Golden's lynchproof)

Last time I hesitated because of one small detail, a ****ing Mafioso wearing Ephraim's skin was running around the Town right in front of us. Then the Reviver was lynched, the Cop died, the Mayor died, a Vigilante was incriminated, we almost lynched the Bomb and "Ephraim" still managed to plant the seeds to the Town's defeat on his last moments.
Not gonna allow something like that to happen just because Opo was dumb enough to link himself to someone with a 50/50 chance of being mafia.
you are the true hero

live the night i'll get ya a drink your chioce :p

^Don't do that, Lampy. People might not want to play with you in the future if you do that.

Pokechu.
i'm down with that

Also Jynx is ugly, I am sorry.
Sorry for lying to yourself? Jynx is beautiful.

Why you apologizing? No normal person would find Jynx sexy.
That's a lie. I'm normal and Jynx is HOT!!!

Kidding of course, but I wouldn't necessarily call her ugly. There's much worse out there lol

but then again Jynx is one of my favorite Pokemon so idk

I'm probably the only one with a PokeWaifu and I'm not even playing. :reverse:

Will probably join in the next game, if only because I've never watched a single GoT episode.

I understand your concern. But I like posts that I only find good, trust me. There are some posts that I do not like.

And yet you like the post where someone straight up tells you to stop liking a bunch of posts.

Do you even realize the message you're sending to him?
I hope he understands I only like good posts.
I am not trying to provoke him or anything.

Well, that's still the message you're sending.

If someone tells you to calm down on the like button, then you proceed to like the post, it gives the idea that you decided to like it just to piss them off... or that you don't read the posts and just abuse that like button. Neither message are good.

Or we could not decide things based on chance. I thought the el vote idea was neat.

Although this change causes Pokechu dying, and that's something that is always okay no matter what.
