Because Townies need to be able to sacrifice themselves to scumhunt, this is why we have roles like Suicide Bomber, Desperado and Bomb, Town shouldn't care about their own lives as long as they eliminate all the scum.
Scum are the ones who need to watch out for theirs because every death on their team makes their life significantly harder.

The scummiest thing you could possibly do is to not be willing to give your life for the sake of the Town.

Or, we let a townie (you) die because they've been vague with their role details until now and they've been acting suspicious, not to mention somewhat sporadic.

I think I'll stay neutral on this battle since if Opo isn't lying, he's a huge benefit, but he's tied to you and your alignment is yet to be proven. On the other hand, Shish is a confirmed townie and he'd be a really good person to converse with during the night.

I think that part of what made you suspicious though was that you said your abilities were useless, and someone asked you to say them since if they're useless it'd make no difference, and you still refused to say them IIRC. Might be misremembering though.

The fact that you didn't say them at all when you thought they were useless really didn't help you at all. Then you suddenly point out that you're useful again.

You need to see yourself in the eyes of others to really see if what you did was suspicious. Especially since no one is 100% sure anyone saying the truth in these games.

On my hand, I'm willing to give a benefit of the doubt since you're new to this. In fact, if I recall, I'm not voting anyone right now.

Rundown as to why I believe Lampy is Mafia:
-Apollo(Seviper) was confirmed as Town due to his death and there's no way two opposing roles are on the same side.
-Lampy claimed the exact same abilities that Apollo has. "Oh but then how would he guess that?" Apollo claimed to Opossum and Opo likely gave everything away to Lampy as he already knew Apollo was his rival when he claimed to me.
-Zangoose having some sort of protection negator makes no sense, there's no mention of Seviper being bullet or lynch proof.
-At the same time, Zangoose MUST have some sort of protective ability bevause otherwise Seviper had an useless ability, which means Lampy is hiding an ability from us.
-"They're now useful and can affect anyone" is complete bull**** because why the **** would a Townie want to remove protection from others? It would make sense for one specific scum role with a -proof ability but not to the whole Town where it can end Doctor's protections or take their -proof abilities away(like Golden's lynchproof)

Last time I hesitated because of one small detail, a ****ing Mafioso wearing Ephraim's skin was running around the Town right in front of us. Then the Reviver was lynched, the Cop died, the Mayor died, a Vigilante was incriminated, we almost lynched the Bomb and "Ephraim" still managed to plant the seeds to the Town's defeat on his last moments.
Not gonna allow something like that to happen just because Opo was dumb enough to link himself to someone with a 50/50 chance of being mafia.

suppose voting ram and lib when one of them is dying limits the amount potential town deaths.

but now, what if lib dies from yoy and ram shoots lib? both die or ram survives even if lib is town? dunno XD. That might not actually prove ram is a desperado...
