Since they refuse to give Toon Link a black tunic without the dumb red eyes, I support removing Dark Toon Link from the game to make room for better costumes.

They've said that basically any iteration of an already included character is fair game. Besides, it's not like PM hasn't included post Brawl content before. Look at Skyloft. Anyway, I'm conflicted about this. I love conductor Link, but I also feel that as a veteran Y.Link should at least be referenced in a cosplay.

Ok then, well fair enough. I don't know, just found it odd that all the alt costumes were from past games. It's all up to the PMDT.

I just looked up the Melee Daisy Peach, and I never noticed how accurate it was to Daisy until now. I mean look

It actually has short gloves, the lace/things on the ends of her sleeve, the flower crown, as had been pointed out, FLOWER EARRINGS(!), AND the dark skin and brown hair. Not to mention the torso area of the dress being unique as well..

WHY wasn't this detail repeated in Brawl??

Holy crap I knew about the crown, hair, skin and brooch. But I never noticed the torso or gloves! I did notice the sleeves, but they are easy to forget. Now that I think about it, this might be the only actual alternate costume in Melee!!!

Hmm.. Considering all of Pikachu's cosplays are just hats, id be down with just a helmet. Also I didn't know this was its own game! At first glance it looked just like a Mega Man boss.

I have a question. Say MK or Luigi got cowboy costumes, should they be enhanced with non-canon clothing items seperate from their original games?
I was thinking Luigi should have a leather vest, chaps and riding gloves to go with his Mario Party 2 attire, and MK could have a leather duster replace his cape, he could have a sheriff badge, have little spurs on his boots.
It seems like these would help make the classic games look better IMO.

I feel like these outfits are going to be added into Smash 4 when the new 3DS comes out. And to be honest, I only really like the Mario and Link outfits

The PMDT can add eyelashes and a modified version of the shoes. And, I think the hairstyle could work. It's short and kinda flat, so I wouldn't imagine it would get in the way of Copy Ability Hats too much.

I love those costumes. They're all quirky and unique. In particular, that Kirby one could work really well for an Alt. Costume, I think. Adding hair or anything like that is a no-no, and the eyelashes and shoes wouldn't be that much of a change, kinda like Sonic's cosplays as Shadow and co. I think that only recolors for Kirby is fine.

I'm pretty sure quickdraw MK is going to be a thing. The guy who made Shogun Dedede alluded to it at least.

We may as well, since nobody likes just recolors of another character.. And the skulls and spikes look so much better than just recolored Falcon emblems, but if this changes his character too much.. That's up for debate.

Wow, I forgot about Blood Falcon. Yeah, if it doesn't change Falcon's character too much, adding a little more detail on the colour swap would be really nice.

Personally, I'd love to see a Beastman cosplay, but that's me being biased as Beastman's one of my fave racers haha.

Oh yeah.. I forgot about Beastman.. He's got my favorite car in the game as his signature ride.
I could see him being a pretty good cosplay choice, but Phoenix and Dr. Stewart kinda look cooler.. If there wasn't a Smash 64 Falcon costume I'd be down with that

I like 'em 'cause they're cute and kinda silly. I think the colors and overall ridiculousness makes them seem attractive, somehow, especially Kirby's and Tink's. I don't know, I guess you have to like that sort of thing to like those costumes.

I would rather it activate a mode where all of Ganon's hitboxes are turned into trollfaces.

Except for Wizard's foot. That needs to turn into a bus with Ganon's foot.
