Player Fund! Help Shroomed get to Zenith!!

We'd like to see more WC players come out to Zenith this year! As SFAT can no longer attend, the played fund will resume with Shroomed.

On behalf of the Zenith/CoT staff, this is a donation program to help Shroomed get over to the EC to participate! He would be leaving from either SFO or San Jose, to Newark EWR.

Donating is simple. Log into payal.com, click on the "send money button".

Unfortunately, the prices have gone up tremendously. The cheapest tickets I can find from San Jose to Newark are around $600 to $650. If we can reach this amount quickly, there's a chance to be able to get a cheap ticket, but the tournament is right around the corner!

The recipient email is nunu0215@yahoo.com. Be sure to leave a note/message with the donation in the space provided, specifying who you are so that I can keep track of who donated.

I will keep track of all donations in this thread and update regularly. If Shroomed is unable to attend, I will contact everyone who donated for a refund, or if they want their donation to go to an alternate player (which we can discuss).

Does he have a place to stay? I live like, 40 minutes away and would be happy to house anybody if they throw me some gas money for driving to and fro.

That'd be awesome if you could house him. And I'm sure he'll be able to give some gas$. I'll have him hit you up if/once the fund gets near it's goal.

The ticket's will be closer to around $350, but $100 will be given by Zenith staff in addition to profits from this fund. And that will be greatly appreciated!

A lot of other players from the west have already been asked (SS, zhu, lovage, axe, taj, darkrain etc) but aren't able to make it or are not sure if they'll be able to come so don't want me to commit a fund for them. The next runner up was SFAT, who is another liked rising player who hasn't really had chances to come east and he showed enthusiasm for the tournament, so why not give him a chance? :)

Any chance we can get this set up for Shroomed instead? He's more popular and I think people would rather if he came to this in SFAT'S place.

And I'm sure people will be more willing to donate for Shrooomed as well.

Yeah, that post of mine was a bit insensitive. I'm sorry. I just feel like Shroomed is one of the few players who can still get people hyped for a tourney. SFAT is great, but he isn't that exciting.

Well, the fund isn't doing so well at the moment. I'm waiting until it get's closer to the tournament and maybe people will donate. If not, than nothing will happen more on my part than the donators getting a refund. By all means though, you are free to contact Shroomed about coming and create a player fund for him.

Since SFAT unfortunately can not attend Zenith at this time, the fund will indeed go to Shroomed! But Zenith is only in 2 weeks! If we can all pitch in, the ticket might possibly be able to be purchased before prices go up too much!

Yes, if for some reason he can't go, I won't change players or anything, everyone will get a full refund that donated.

Doesn't look like it's going to reach the goal before friday lol. So if/when zenith comes up and Shroomed isn't there, I'll issue them refunds.
