Indeed they were, for my Kirby I haven't used him in like years so bare with me. Next time I brawl you, I will be sure to use him like I use to in the past. Yes, I have to leave for a while and I'll return later on not sure what time though.
My GnW is as well rusty from not playing him so much (mostly Link Ike and Wolf) I need to return to those characters quickly! Thank you very much Omar, I try my hardest to impress with Link online. I just don't view him like the way others view him, he's a force to reckon with when played differently and creatively. I will continue to practice more and view more creative ways to use him. I just played a match against my level 9 cpu Link right after the matches, and damn is it good. It looks as if it copied what all of us were doing online and did the same to me offline, whilst getting in-humanly possible SDI's Walltechs, and powershields. I can't believe how difficult that was. Probably the hardest thing I had to fight ever.

Forgot to write this yesterday (was in a hurry) your Samus has really developed and you've learned to Zair cancel congratulations on achieving a new technique to use for your character. Be sure to experiment with Zair canceling and always remember that every technique plays its role to achieve greatness for any character.

I'd like to say I'm "experienced" at brawl as for the past 1.5 years, I've had people over for 3 hours every sunday to play brawl. But, that means nothing compared to everyone on here.

I'd like to say I'm "experienced" at brawl as for the past 1.5 years, I've had people over for 3 hours every sunday to play brawl. But, that means nothing compared to everyone on here.

Well, when I mentioned "experience" I didn't mean the "you're bad get better through time" no. I simply mean (keep progressing to become even more talented). Unlike others who rate players and such, I do not rate players whatsoever, why? Because I know players will progress through over time and not stay a "scrub" or "noob". Everyone starts from the bottom and works their way up even the first players who started like M2K (just using example I don't look up to any player in any means but myself).

As for myself, I barely play a couple of minutes before I go, rarely do I brawl all day (life) but if I could; I would experiment non stop with my character Link and bring him higher than I previous brought him to.

How I keep myself not too "rusty" is brawl level nine CPs for hours (if I can) to have that Brawl feel and not feel weird when I return to Brawl a couple of weeks later (which I have in the past).

Just always brawl whenever you can, brawling CPs is not a bad idea, brawling CPs first helps your confidence increase when anyone defeats a CP MK or whatsoever, the next thing anyone else will notice when they brawl CPs for a while is their defense increases (watching CPs Power shield non stop will click into a person's mind to try to mimic their defense and I'm the example for that).

Lastly brawling CPs is perfect into experiencing string set ups and so forth, because if anyone can preform a string set up against a CP and their perfect defense then they can preform that same string up against a human being (focus on anything that isn't DI based against CPs and that will help 100% as I know).

Also I know this is off topic and you probably don't want me to mention this but I shall say it anyway. I believe that you should just ignore the people on the "How Can We Save Brawl?" thread. The people there (some not all) are incredibly stubborn and act as if they are higher than everyone there. Further commenting on that thread will result in constant hate and others of the like. I myself just recently made a comment and am worried about what will happen now but I guess there is nothing I can do about it. I feel as if I now understand the hate you must deal with (you as in the Brawl community and you as in yourself), which is something truly stupid for something as small as a fun video game and of them all Super Smash Bros. Anyways just saying.

For know I think I will just practice against my trained CPU. It is unbelievably good somehow. It is now able to somehow DI out of jab, and almost seemingly read button inputs. I am never safe when above him (Link) because it times uptilt and upsmash at the right time for every option (air-dodge attack, wavebounce, bomb throw etc). Annoying to fight but I guess it should help me learn how to escape situations where people have god-like reaction time haha!

You think that's crazy... my CP can now Platform cancel by will more than before (especially Pit) I guess I should realize that playing CPs for hours and hours everyday none stop will no doubt improve their mentality, guess? Good, just keep doing that and remember to experiment no matter what man, okay? Also find ways on using Bomb Sliding into a new counter productive tool/ combo set up and so forth until Thursday. Thanks.

If you play against your CPU (in Brawl) enough either in a normal Brawl or training mode, it will eventually start to mimic what you do. It's kinda cool yet kinda scary at the same time. Not sure if this works in PM but it should since PM is just a Brawl mod.

After practicing techniques and battling my CPU (Link) multiple times, it is now able to platform cancel, powershield and tech even the most impossible of things and do certain movement techs that no ordinary CPU does. And I thought amiibo were the first to do that. I never knew that, thanks for sharing. And I'm pretty sure that PM doesn't have it since they completely reconstructed the cpu programing and gave it more set actions to perform. Most noticable in the Fox and Falco cpu's where they are predictable because of the changed system but they execute all of the tech they were programmed to do perfectly, which prevents them from being easy to fight against.
