Pikmin "December 25, 2008 JPN/2009 America" & Pikmin 2: "2009 JPN"

-The game will feature 16:9 widescreen support.

Metroid Prime & Metroid Prime 2 Echoes: (2009 JPN)

Yea this is a chance for people like me who surprisingly didn't get any 6th gen consoles or didn't own a GC. The Play on Wii series i REALLY want to see is Rouge Squadron. PLUS SEEING that's also rumored makes me so happy. I want to see one of the best games on the Game cube hit the wii.

If they can add new modes, levels, and graphics they could easily remove L canceling and other advance techs right?

If Nintendo releases melee like that, I will lose all faith I have in them. Please don't do this to us D:

Wouldn`t it be cool if some of the games got online play? *coughmeleecough*
Actually, given how poorly Brawl works online what with running at 60 fps and the fact that Melee runs at the same framerate but requires faster, more precise gameplay overall, I seriously doubt online play would be realistically good in Melee. I would, however, like to see Metroid Prime have online play since I was really dissappointed that MP3 didn't.

Go buy Rogue Leader for $8 at GameStop and pop it into your Wii. Holy crap, it works! Backwards compatibility is amazing!
Actually, EB games (gamestop of anything not USA) doesn't have it any more :/.

But the Rumor is that they're gonna cram all 3 games into a Wii disc which i assume is going to be a Double layer disc. So that means rouge 64 will get a Graphical update, and the ability to use new space craft, and possibly the whole series will get a 1 or 2 new bonus mission entirely.

Yea lets run around killing Samus.

Unless Multiplayer is gonna be Marines vs Pirates i got no problem with it.

I'm not so sure about this anymore. New stages, better graphics and everything sounds awesome. Though having to rebuy the game just to do that sounds stupid. If the price is cheap I might consider it.

Donkey Jungle Beat's getting new levels, hu? I might actually consider getting it, that was one of my favorite games on the Cube.

Also nice to see updated versions of Pikmin 2 and Metroid Prime.

This is Melee we're talking about. You're saying you wouldn't go all out for a graphic improved, online melee?

I would pay up to 300 or so for it and I'm only 15. If I had a job I would consider way more.

1) Melee isn't confirmed
2) If they do make melee, that doesn't automatically mean they will add wifi
3) Wifi in brawl is already bad and that's a pretty slow game. Melee would probably lag every otther frame :p
4) I'm pretty sure that even if they released a new SSBM they would take out all the good stuff (like wavedashing, l-canceling ect.)

1) I was just saying if it were
2) True but there is still a chance
3) Mario Kart Wii isn't bad though. You never know what games could be good or bad with wifi. If melee had anything lower then 7 frames of input delay, I would be fine. I played on kaillera for 2 years >_>
4) L canceling could be taken out but there is always ocarina to fix that. I highly doubt they will take out wavedashing since air dodge in a certain direction is a pretty big mechanic in melee. I'm sure they won't bother with taking much out.

1)Yeah
2) There are chances but I doubt there high
3) Melee is closer to brawl then it is to MKwii. MK Wii is a racing game so you can't compare the two.
4) You never know. I also wasn't limiting it to l-canceling and wavedashing. There is a lot
more stuff they could take out.

Sunshine and WindWaker would definitely be amazing.

Definetly Windwaker though. That was one of my favorite GC games, next to Animal Crossing.

Also, Animal Crossing =p
I'd like to see the hat and glasses design fit into that, along with online play.

Animal Crossing would be pointless, seeing as how CF is so similar to both it and WW.

Wind Waker was unlike any other Zelda game, so it deserves an overhaul, and the same goes for Sunshine.

All in all, I'd rather see upgraded N64 games than Gamecube. SSB64, OoT, Super Mario 64, Star Fox 64, Rogue Squadron... come on, you know you'd all rather have those than GCN games.

Thats what virtual console is for. All the N64 games graphics are better than the originals, OOTMQ would be one I would like to see.

I dunno about you guys, but I'd rather see completely new games rather than remakes with new control schemes.

If you would be so kindly to show me how CF is simliar to the original in anyway.. please do.

All I see in it so far is a mash up of WW and the city with holiday specials. Nothing else from what I've seen =/ I highly doubt the designer even put too many new holidays in, I mean we can't tell since we DON'T have an agenda, can we?
I'd be happy if aerobics specials and other random events were in there as well.. not just Christmas, Halloween, and Thanksgiving.

Wind Waker was unlike any other Zelda game, so it deserves an overhaul, and the same goes for Sunshine.

WindWaker was advertised a lot in Brawl so it wouldn't be a surprise (Toon Link, lots of in-game songs, The Pirate Ship w/ the King of Red Lions behind it)
Sunshine was advertised a lot too.

And Smash Bros. is basically an advertisement game.. and it succeeded in Brawl a lot. Just look at the reception.

I'll agree with the first three you suggested.. don't know much about Squadron I don't think. Unless you're talking about the Star Wars racing game.. I can't remember though XD

edit: Virtual Console exists though so you can't be sure if they'll do that.

Don't turn around, 'cos then I'll be behind you.
FZero GX!

i've never played it, but it looks really cool, and my Dad really wants a pure racing game (hence why he wants a PS3, as well as for the Blue Ray readie-thing). i really need to know whether to get a preowned Fzero GX, or wait until a Play on the Wii version is announced.

Gamestop's got it, and you could easily find it at a pawn shop, video store, or somewhere else for even cheaper than Gamestop is selling it.
Gamestop doesn't exist in Canada. Instead we got EB games, which used to be good but now has crappy service. Any ways the thing is that the Play on Wii Rouge squadron is a 3 for 1.

http://www.joystiq.com/2008/10/08/rumor-enhanced-rogue-squadron-trilogy-due-on-wii/

Rumor is that all 3 will be getting Graphical remakes. Yes even Rouge Squadron on the N64 will be getting a update which kinda maybe explains why it hasn't gone on the Virtual Console.

Which is why I said a pawn shop, video store, etc.

And yes, I've read the rumor. There's two reasons I see them not doing it, the first, they'd make more money just putting the original N64 game up on the Virtual Console. When they do that, they barely have to touch the coding and they don't have to rework the graphics and all that jazz. Secondly, Factor 5 isn't on the best of terms with Nintendo.

WRONG!

A gamestop just recently opened (about 6 months ago :p) up in limebridge mall (you can check http://www.shoplimeridgemall.ca/store-directory.html"] << under electronics)

I second the F-Zero GX motion!
I was thinking of buying it for the Gamecube, but I may reconsider with this.
With any luck, they'll add Wi-Fi and not **** up with the difficulty.

as long as the game had a traditional control setup, I don't think nintendo will change much, mostly because the more stuff they change, the more money it costs them, and the longer it takes the release

we'll probably see just generic add-ons to functionality and gameplay
wiimote support, wifi, better graphics, etc.

Wrong^
example1: If they added a new character and a new level to melee more people would buy it and they would get a higher profit.

example2: if they added a new weapon, control sceme, and dungeon to wind-waker more people would buy and and they would get a higher profit.

With that logic why would they release the games in the first place? The fact is that if they are willing to make Wiimakes, Nintendo won't do half ***** ports of gamecube games. Metroid Prime 1 & 2 with MP3 control's is enough for a sale for me.

sorry, I was unclear, I meant this in the sense that they probably won't mess around with the core gameplay, ie melee's physics engine, they'll just add stuff like characters, trophies, and the like

Oh my god! Yes!

SSB64, OoT and SM64 could all use AMAZING graphic overhauls (Then again, the VC can already play N64 games, so I dunno, would Nintendo do that?)

And....DK64 anyone?

And I DEMAND MELEE WITH MORE LEVELS AND STUFF! BUT absolutely no mechanic changes, blar!

I wonder why that game isn't on virtual console. I'm yet to play a DK game other than the first one.
