My next tourney's not til the 10th, and it's a janky local. I'mma try my best tho. ;; Kinda low on confidence because of how poopoo I've been doing lately.

KLO! don't get down, you're awesome! It's tough playing against people that know you/know the matchup really well all the time, I know that all too well >< But you're definitely good enough to overcome it.

I also have a tourney on the 10th, and I've hardly played since the last tourney I went to but that's actually made me more confident. The little that I have played I've been trying new stuff that I've randomly thought of during downtime at work and such, and I'm starting to kick some of my old habits.

Anyways good luck to all the pikas at their tourneys! Especially Prime, kick some *** at WHOBO :D (Just don't knock San out, I want to see a top 8 Ike ruin everyone's opinion of the tier list )

Thanks alt! I did some serious 1v1 practice today with the two best members of my crew, and it helped A LOT. I haven't played singles like that in a long time..... definitely needed it.

Still having trouble with Lucario. But I'm getting better at the Snake and TL MUs in particular.

Lucario is a pain in the balls Match-up. You have to be really patient, but not camping. You have to zone so much, even though he has more range than you. Such an annoying Match-up. I hope to god I don't have to play Lee Martin at MLG..

Gallax, for christ's sake, USE PIKACHU ON ****ING DEDEDE!

You probably were stubborn and played snake. WHY?!?!?!? Snake is AT BEST 45:55 against D3 while pikachu is AT WORST 60:40. Why don't you just learn the Pika D3 matchup by friendlying them? You always lose to CO and Hbox (CO i have no complaints) but I mean they are still D3. You should be able to beat hbox.

I lost to PS and Junebug T_T

Funny ya'll were talkin bout Lucario. June timed me out first game (but it was funnn) then second game he got the first kill and from there I couldn't catch up ><

vs PS I was gonna get the obvious bthrow on him but then tripped and got usmashed last stock on the first game T_T Second game was close but

I got 5/18 with Pink Fresh in doubles. ESAM have you ever teamed with Galeon? If so, anything I should know?

And that was mah weekend.

That's how I lose to Squall's Lucario almost every time. -_- He'll get the lead first stock, I'll manage to even it up, but then I die first because either a) I try to get the kill too early and leave myself open, or b) I try to let the kill come to me, and he gets so strong that a love tap sends me flying.

It isn't really that good. Pikachu and Lucas are both light characters, which is already a bad combination. All the moves that you heal with leave you open, so there isn't much opportunity to. If you do get some off, just T-jolt since one T-jolt gets 20% fresh. It really isn't worth it. When I teamed with Galeon once he went snake because 2 light characters in a team really suck.

Well I actually find it pretty good. I thought it was bad at first because Lucas gets gimped and Pika takes a lot of hits trying to save him. Their 2v1 game is ridiculous. Could just be that my region plays odd characters so that combination can actually compete though.

I've done Lucas+Pika a few times in friendlies, and it seems to work out okay. We had problems getting kills at first, but besides that, it wasn't so bad.

They're both light, but Pika can stock tank pretty well. We generally didn't bother with healing unless it was really safe to do it (2v1 or right after one of the other team died).

PK Fire + PKT1 + tjolt is really safe & annoying 2v1.

The wonderful thing about this thread is that you get at least 1 point even if you place dead last, so you can only go up the list! Besides, 33rd out of 100+ isn't bad at all, silly.
