I hope I'm the first to discover this and that this isn't a repost of already known information but I stumbled upon the fact that Pikachu has a wall jump now while testing wall clinging vs. wall jumping.

Fantastic topic, I'd been looking for some matches with Pika, even if just to see how his moves have changed.

The general lack of lag on his attacks is pretty exciting, and while his u-air is changed, low knockback juggle may well be better than tail spiking given the way recovery seems to work in brawl.

The lack of lag on thunder and f-smash made my jaw hit the floor, and quick attack looks far more fluid than it was in melee, easier to sweet spot like everything. What I'm wondering is - does anyone know if you can aim quick attack so it ends a tiny bit above the ground to land with nearly no lag? In melee, you'd lag heavily if you QA'd directly into the ground, fall in a vulnerable state if you stopped too high, or get a nigh-lagless landing if you managed to stop just bearly above the ground with the vulnerable state ending real fast. Any info on this?

If the huge lack of info keeps up, I'll bring back some hands on reports and impressions if I get the chance to play with some of the Brits that've got brawl already.

Edit: regarding upsmash, yeah, it looks slightly weaker since besides anything else there's a new floatier physics system. Thankfully with thunder now (seemingly) very safe, this might not be a huge issue.

Can someone clarify this? I'm hearing conflicting reports, can the tail spike? I've heard its harder to do but possible, also when and how exactly does it spike, because I wasn't able to get it to spike.

It... moves them in the same directions as melee... but by no means will it be outright killing people as far as I can see XD.

Pika's edgeguarding game is looking really good without it actually though...
I did some very melee esque edgeguarding tonight ... which further confirms brawl as being the best game in existance.
