Dedede pics are even worse the the megaman ones, but I didn't wreck this one quite as much.
Nice shop a1j2h5 , I don't agree with your choices either (to be frank, you're not even close) but the work on thescreen itself is very good.

I don't like some of your choices.
- Meowth is pretty worthless since there are better, more popular Pokemon to use (Lucario and Gardevoir).
- Ridley is missing.
- Tom Nook should be replaced with the Animal Crosser

- Balloon Fighter would be best off an assist trophy.
- King K. Rool is missing.
- Waddle Dee should be replaced with King Dedede.
- Have you ever considered adding Isaac (Golden Sun)?
- Lastly, R.O.B. is a Subspace Enemy.
Everything else is relatively good, but some of those character edits are rather weird (especially Luigi, which looks TOO weird).

You do realize that Tom Nook is also in the background of Smashville at times right? There's only one Tom Nook in existence, so he's gone. However, there is more than one Animal Crosser, so having one be a fighter shouldn't be a problem.
It's a similar case with Toad since there is more than one Toad that exists.

i'm not sure if this really fits anywhere...
even in the tingle thread. anyhow, this is TECHNICALLY photoshop. it's a process, though. i sketch my character, take it to illustrator, and dodge and burn in photoshop. (i go to design school, btw)
THEN i printed them on cardstock and well, did a photoshoot around my house today.
(ps i'm not obsessed or anything, i plan to do this with more characters)
edit: this (above) is a candid of tingle falling over.
i have exactly 5 more copies of these paper "dolls" ...if you're interested PM me and i can mail one to you.

Though Eternal Darkness was an absolutely fantastic game, I think it was a wee bit too mature to merit a playable Brawl character. Horror mature, not action/guns mature, I'm accounting for Snake
However, Alex as an AT could be interesting...she shows up, some crazy insanity effect messes with everyone, and everything flashes back to normal as Alex mutters "This can't be happening!" Ah, ED was such fun...
