So, as I wanted to, I spent my birthday at work.
I was going to finish early so I invited a couple friends to a bar with special prices if it's a monday and someone had their birthday during the month, and I told them to go since like two weeks ago (and quick reminders every so often).

No surprise, nobody attended.
I guess that's a regular outcome for me, so I am not even mad.

Oh wow, that's quite a trip. Idk what the Smash scene is like down there, but if you can get in-person practice with good people, do that. Play the more common matchups -- esp MK. If there's no one you can Brawl with, at least practice Pika's basic combos, chaingrabs, and techniques on bots and maybe do a little wifi. (AllisBrawl is a good place to find people to play with online.) Watch more recent vids of good Pikas' tourney matches (which basically amounts to ESAM).

That's really all I can tell you since I've been out of the game for ~2 years now, but maybe someone who still plays can give you more detailed advice.

EDIT: Oh, and you'll have a blast at SKTAR. Keitaro runs really good tournies, and meeting other Smash players = fun times.

Well I mainly Train with my Friends. MK, Olimar, Marth and Peach mains. Sadly wifi sucks down here . I've been watching lots of vids!! and doing lots of research and training. Hopefully it helps a little.

Sadly The Video X Games( VxG ), A tournament this summer, is gonna be taking place from july 24 - 28th. And in 1 week planning to go to sktar... So eh I'll be low on funds . But darn it woulda been nice though....

So I took the liberty to edit the super smash bros wikia page for Pikachu primarily because I was bored. I did have to change quite a few ill-conceived statements made in the article, such as that Pikachu is best played having the high ground over the opponent somehow. The section on Pikachu's aerials were horrendous as well. Feel free to check it out. I feel confident that the community here can edit it and append it properly.
Now I'm gonna go hang out with friends and play brawl. E out.

I would love to if it was actually as popular as regular brawl. Last time I played Project M in a tournament (a couple years ago) I enjoyed a nice crowd around me. Brawl Pikachu does well in Melee physics.
