By the way, since most of you don't know (but those that I'm closer to hear about it all the time ;))

MY COMPUTER SUCKS.

It's like, broken. Ever since I moved it to my dorm last semester, video playback has been horribly, HORRIBLY laggy, and the screen occasionally:

1. freezes for a few seconds. I can move the mouse around, but I can tell the glitch is occuring because if I hover over something, like the tabs at the bottom on the taskbar, nothing will highlight.
2. Screen goes black.
3. Screen comes back on a few seconds later.
4. There are usually annoying glitchy-looking pictures and stuff.

Like this is an example from a picture sasuke once posted in the social group.

His words express my very same feelings.

Then there was this time I opened a picture, and then like, a long time later, the computer did the glitch, and every time I refreshed the page, part of the picture was stuck over the smashboards ad for a second.

My computer hasn't driven me insane yet because I can laugh at how stupid it is =D

But yeah if anyone can guess what's wrong that'd be nice ^_^ I'm too lazy to look it up on like, other websites. I'm guessing it's the graphics card or something, but I'm too lazy to replace that too. I just need a whole new computer since this one's kinda ancient >_>

i get to play candy all day tomorrow!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

edit: btw, the most upsetting thing happened to me at a tourney on saturday. i was holding down the jab button while a DDD was spotdodgin(i didnt want to get into a spotdodge war) and guess what happened? he was able to spotdodge all of my jabs for about 4-5 seconds. now you tell me, how am i supposed to not get upset at this? i ended up forfeiting that match even though it was not over because ive never been so pissed. DDD is the gayest thing ever to happen to brawl. stand still and wait for a grab to come your way. when they get close, spotdodge until they attack. then grab again. fthrow to tech chase then bthrow then you are in kill range. how lovely.

I've been sleeping at random intervals in the day for random amounts of time. I don't have a sleep schedule. It's confusing...

Edit:
First post on page 333. :3

DDD has partial invincibility at the end of his spotdodge (after his "real" IFs are over).... you have to use a 3D move like dsmash to get through his spotdodging. Don't jab.

It's worse down here in Georgia, unfortunately. I hate southern accents. j_j

And you ignored my question about positions being filled.

And should I try to teach you sheik now that you're back? :p

That is all.
I wasn't here to reply, lol. You can take personal assistant, if you like. =D

And yes, I need some Sheik tutoring, but I wanna wait until I get this wireless adapter thingy.... does anyone know how much one usually costs? @.@

My sleep schedule is normal again, and I'm happy about that, lol. I have too much **** to do to be tired during the day.

I got mine for about $60. I'm not one who really shops around, but I did get it at Walmart. the signal covers the entire house, one with a weaker signal would obviously cost less. I guess it depends on where your "base of operations" is gonna be.

Also, take a peak inside the UFB thread. We're having a srs discussion.

Dedede's spot dodge is really good, lol. I think R.O.B.'s is like that too.

Maybe I won't have to pick up MK, Dedede and ICs work really well together. >_>

...wtf am I saying, it's MK. -_- *Tornadoes stuff*

2d plane? I don't get it XD
Brawl has depth to it.... there are 2D moves and 3D moves. 3D moves hit all planes (except people who have total invincibility); 2D moves won't hit characters when they're "in the background" -- basically, when they're not completely invincible but can only be hit by 3D moves, not 2D ones.

@Bunny: Yeah, ROB's spotdodge is like that as well. Wario's nair makes him alternate between the 2D and 3D plane as he rotates, lol. G&W's moves are all 2D since he's flat, so if you're DDD, spotdodge like crazy. =D (Jk, sort of.)

whattt?

O_o
x.x

2D = flat. Moves that are only one-dimensional. Most jabs and grabs fall into this category.
3D = not flat. Moves like Pika's dsmash.

In Brawl, there's 2D, 3D, and complete invincibility. When you're invincible, no moves can hit you. When you're in the "background," 2D moves can't hit you but 3D ones can. When you're vulnerable, all moves can hit you.

This "background" partial invincibility can affect only a part of a character's body as well.... example: Luigi. I forget when it is (during his spotdodge, I think), but at one point, his upper body has "background" frames, but his lower body is completely vulnerable.

EDIT: There's a thread on it somewhere in Tactical Discussion, but I'm far too lazy to find it.

EDIT #2: Fun fact.... most characters move into the background and drastically change their hurtboxes while charging smashes. Zelda can dodge attacks by charging her fsmash, lol, but that's like dodging a projectile with Pika's dtaunt..... x.x Not really viable.

DDD's spot dodge is vulnerable to 3D attacks for a rather long time. Problem is instinctually people go for the 2D attacks like jab and grab. So if you try a 2D attack you have like, 1 frame to get the hit on or something ridiculous like that. But if you do a 3D move you have an entire 7 frames, one of the most vulnerable spot dodges in the game.

Heres the thread:

http://www.smashboards.com/showthread.php?t=225510

Prime made it so I searched his threads made :lick:. He made some other awesome and very useful thread ya'll should look at.

Another fun fact, pikachu as you'll see is actually tied with 5 others for the best spot dodge in the game, and one of only two characters that are good with that ability. If done frame perfect pika is only vulnerable for 3 frames between spot dodges. Ive actually been experimenting with using this more. I was using it the other day bunny when I was doing all those backrolls at the edge of the stage.

By the way, I think it would be very much worth it to find out which of pikas attacks are 3D or 2D and add it to the frame data thread, especially for characters like DDD (and his spot dodge) and I think luigi is the same way maybe.

Hey guys! Sorry I've been inactive lately. I'm currently on vacation in Las Vegas. xD

I hope to meet SK92, although the chances of that happening are really rare. We are also staying in a nice hotel, with a Brawl set-up. I knew in my gut feeling that I should've brought my gamecube controller, so in return I'm forced to use a wii-mote and nunchuck. ;x

Still yet, I'm ****** every person I come across, and I'll I'm going to spamming grenades and FTilt. It's hilarious. I'll be back on Sunday, August 16th. I hope you guys don't forget me!
