The only problem I see with Little Mac is that he wouldn't be an original character to Smash. I have a feeling that he'd have been like C.F. Same thing with Grey Fox, he would've been like another clone of Marth, Roy, and Ike. However the Hammer Bros. they'd either be like the Ice Climbers or they'd be like a combination of Mario and Ice Climbers.

There isn't really an AT that I think should have been playable. The only Assist Trophy "deconfirmation" that hurt me in the slightest was Lyn, but I knew her chances were grim with the introduction of ATs. And prior to ATs I though Goroh was the only character I was CERTAIN to make the cut, and what do you know, first to go. My hopefuls (Megaman, Bomberman, and Issac/Felix) are still in the running, so for the time being I'm fine with the ATs as they are.

Lyn and Goroh might have been ok additions. But i'm hardly bothered at all with their de-confirmation.

Their both samurai.

They both have no other abilities to their samurai style of sword fighting (maybe Sumo but thats a very limited method in a game like Smash).

Who gives a **** anyway their both out and not worth arguing over.

Only one I was bothered by was Lyn. Shes a personal favorite FE character for me, so even though I never truly expected her to be playable, I was holding out hope that her international popularity might just make that a possibility. 'Twas a sad day to see her ATed, even if it was fairly predictable.

Otherwise, the only one I feel was worthy as a PC was Samurai Goroh, and personally I'm not an F-Zero fan, so I don't care about him ultimately. The only thing about it that annoys me is that with him out of the way some folks are suggesting more foolish F-Zero characters be in more serious, like Black Shadow, and thats an inevitable part of speculation.

Lyn is no Samurai. There has never been a Samurai in Fire Emblem - its worlds are based on medieval Europe, not Japan. Lyn was a nomad of a plains region who learned swordfighting mostly on her own.

I find it hilarious that if someone suggested Saki before his announcement, they would have been shot down harder than a Romulen ship in Federation space.

Anyways...

My heart broke when I saw this update. He really is a great character, and should have been playable.

Great character, incredible potential.

I like Meowth. Bite me.

Lyn to be the second FE character. Then we might actually have 2 decent lords instead of 1 good one and 1 and fail one (*looks at roy*)

Quoted from Smash Dojo.

"Awww! It makes you want to use him as a playable character."
and
"Gray Fox, who engaged in a grand battle to the death with Metal Gear REX... To think that he would reappear on Wii, and alongside Mario and Sonic at that!

You never know what might happen in this world."

Hmm. I don't know why this makes me feel as if he might be more than just a AT.

Also quoted from the Smash Dojo (emphasis mine):

"Well, these are characters who appear to aid the fighter that called them forth. Basically, they’re guest characters separate from Smash’s playable roster!

Super Smash Bros. Brawl is sort of like a festival that all sorts of characters show up for. Bear in mind, though, that you can’t control any of the characters appearing on these pages. Let there be no mistake about that."

Goroh and Little Mac. Saki would be cool too, but I don't think I would have used him very much.

Off-topic edit: I'm still a little confused about the way Little Mac appears in the game. I never played the SNES version, but apparently Little Mac is the blonde guy in this picture, so why did they use the guy with black hair who's knocked out on the floor?

Personaly, I honestly think (Dont hate me for this...) that Resetti would have been a fun character, just give him little legs. Honestly, how could you NOT like the idea as playing as a mole with a pickaxe? His FS could be his AT function.

I REALLY would have liked an Advance Wars CO to be a character, and there FS could work like Pit's, but slightly different. (Plus, can't you just SEE a guy getting hit on the head with a wrench in this game?)

Goroh would've been nice, or Black Shadow, just to add another F-Zero guy in there.

Lyn is another one I'd have liked in there, but not as much as certian others, like Hector, Ephiram, The Silver-Haired Maiden (Cant remeber name), or a few others.

All the others I have no particular feelings for. Never played Punch Out or Sin and Punishment (I plan to once i get the money), so I can't give an unbiased opinion on them.
