I would like to reunite the AZ smash scene in a melee brawl tourney at People Mover located on: 6890 N. 58th Ave, Glendale, 85301 on April 25th!!!

The melee part will be ran by Tai and the brawl part ran by Justin, so its pretty much the two monthlies combined at a new Air Conditioned venue. The venue will contain a lounge with an NES,Sega Genesis,Ps1,Nintendo 64, and Xbox(library of games coming soon) and a snack bar complete with AZ ice tea.

There will be a $5 dollar venue fee.

I would like to stress that this is an attempt to get new people into our community. So it is of the utmost importance that good sportsmanship is used. I'm not going to ask you to sandbag or not try, but when you win, be a good sport about it.

Also, setups would be madly appreciated. We want to do doubles, singles, and crews in our eight-hour timeframe, so we shouldn't **** around like last time where we didn't have a great turnout. This has people coming to it, so we need to pull together and not **** it up.

Brawl rules are Justins rules

Bring set ups please ! And if you have any questions or recommendations let me know !

all rules and such are subject to change.

As both quotes say,we need set ups so please bring what you can.
Respect each other and the venue as well, because if all goes well and everyone likes the venue we can do it again every month. Or if its too far or the venue fee is a problem we can do them every other month?

For any questions, just ask.

Hope to see everyone there!!

If for whatever reason we arent done by 7:30 we will move up to another room to finish in order to have the bands set up for their show.

I don't see why it would hurt to test this venue.

I play both games, though. =\

I'm planning on going to this, but I'll be extremely disappointed if I can't enter both Melee and Brawl.

It will be next to impossible to do two separate tourneys in the given timeframe. Really, 7 PM?

im talking two different weekends. and no maybe not 7. 8 at the latest. and i may have found a way to finish the tourney after that assuming all we have left are losers and winners finals maybe more left by 7. i must discuss this with the owners.

It's only a matter of time. Let them finish up what they need to do then you guys can all start ranting.

Open at 11 for warm ups then start the tournament at 12?

I'm pretty sure we can get both tournaments done by 7 and Poke said that we might even be able to play later just for finals.

I'm excited.

I'm not even going but I'm going to throw this out there:
Jar'd, you'd be a ****'d fool not to team up with Forward. I'm probably not as good as you but win doubles whenever I team with him haha. Plus IMO he's the best brawler in AZ.
