Right, so let's see if 1.1.5 has done anything to Charizard. I'm still downloading the update myself, but I'll be sure to try and report any potential changes here.

nair now does 9/12
fair 12/13 and seems to have less landing lag
bair 11/14/16.

Edit: apparently Nair and uair endlag is now 20 frames, fair is 22, bair is 24 and dair is 33.
I'm hyped.

Not sure on the landing lag on stuff but yeah the damage stuff is pretty much 100% confirmed.

Honestly an air speed buff is all I've ever wanted. Dudes a flying type with base 100 speed.

The video was done with this new patch.

Problem is... You have to be careful because if you miss it's one dead Zard.

Testing with a second controller in training mode so take this with a grain of salt. But D-Throw to Fair is registering as a combo up to 95-100% on Lucina with DI Away and Up. Dthrow to Uair works to about the same percentage with DI up, and also kills. If it wasn't 5am I'd do more testing on this but it seems like we could POSSIBLY have 50/50 with D-Throw near the ledge.

Yeeeesss I'm happy with this buff, especially with the one for Back Air! I rely too much on that move and always complained about its landing lag being so big!

The percents are tight but it also true combos on heavies from 42 - 50 and 37 - 42 on fastfallers, kills at the edge.

I wish Doc had gotten the same treatment. Not sure why Sakurai hates him so much. Oh well, at least my 'Zard got some nice buffs. This was an unexpectedly great patch!

It is quite significant, d-throw follow ups are way easier now, our recovery is now better and we have an easier time escaping juggles (although we still get juggled for days).

Same here. Air Speed buff is exactly what I wanted, but we even got Aerial Move buffs (especially B-Air)

Time for zard to become viable in a competitive environment? Sheik and ZSS, two of Zard's worst matchups, got nerfed, PLUS the buffs. I'm feeling optimistic for the future of Zard.

I've always felt Charizard was under-valued in a competitive sense. Seems to be one of the better heavy characters in the game. Now, with these buffs, I expect to see people take a chance on him. Seriously, he's got a ton of untapped potential, I predict we'll start to see it very soon. Good stuff!

The air speed increase could've been a bit better, but at least a single piece of Glider equipment can now raise Charizard's air speed to 1.15.

I think we'll still have a crappy time against those two; just not a 35:65 deal anymore. I'd most likely stick to using Mario, Cloud, and probably Link for those two since they can somewhat keep up. That being said, I'm definitely using Charizard more thanks to that Air Speed buff being the same as Falco's.

Oh my gosh, between the landing lag and airspeed buffs, Zard doesn't feel like a huge fatzo in the air anymore. Now he just feels like the relatively overweight guy he is.

He's finally the flying-type I always wanted him to be.

It seems like his Back Throw can Combo into Flare Blitz...

Need someone to test this to see if this can happen consistently.
