ok so here is just a combo vid that i put together from clips i had lying around, so yes there r a few thata are old, but that doesnt matter. i dont really post that many videos of me playing cuz i dont rly own a wii but i still enjoy playin diddy and have some recorded matches. lol dont judge it to harshly, lolz at the very ending

i totally agree with you, some where unessecary i just wanted some filler. but the clip of that diddy was from the show that aired in 1997 the donkey kong show. if you search it up on youtube you can find some of the old episodes. it was quite impressive and funny at the same time especially becuz DK sounded liek a macho spanish person

Holy crap, I lol'd.
I loved the subliminal messaging at the start, reminded me of Evangelion, especially with the music.
I loved the song choice, I loved the SD montage + that random clip at the end. And how you've put so much effort into putting it together just to say '**** the credits' at the end.

I liked the dash attack into up-tilt. Does anyone think that's fast or slower than upsmashing?

I know some of the clips were old, so I'm probably referring to them when I saw, stop air dodge catching the bananas >.< You'll become a n00b like me : P

People can say what they will about the content, but I'm not one to judge when it isn't asked for.
I would have made it half as long, and only used the best combo's if you wanted to go for quality over quantity.

it's faster, but does less damage. sometimes you can do two of them, or combo into fair, bair, or uair.

I'd probably have to see some frame data to determine which attack is actually "faster," but they both seem to have equivalent start-up time as far as I can tell. Aside from that, it's pretty much negligible whether or not the U-smash or the U-tilt is the more viable followup move based on speed; so long as the third hit of the cartwheel connects and your opponent isn't already at high damage, both moves are guaranteed to land. Conversely, if an opponent shields all three hits of the cartwheel or - in an even rarer and more demoralizing and inexplicable scenario - somehow actually manages to accidentally perfect-shield either the second or third hit of the dash attack, they will always be able to shield-grab immediately after the third hit.

This is the main reason why you shouldn't focus on what's the fastest follow-up option out of a dash attack. If at least the last hit of the dash attack connects, you're guaranteed hit-stun long enough for you to pretty much do anything. If all of it gets shielded however, people with Diddy match-up experience will shield-grab you. Just because programmers made it one of the most fluid and malleable combo openers in the game doesn't mean they didn't make it punishable.

out of rA you can do anything..... pull out banana, mind game throw, go grab a banana on the ground, aerial chase, tilts to aerials, and much more.

rA uT then trot away do some DD'ing and wtach what they do is one of my favorite things.

ive done the uB into the stage for surprise kill/free 18% if im way up, but never on jungle japes, prolly because ive almost never played the level

The last Brawl clip from the bloopers with Ike on FD was odd. You rocket barreled his sword at its peak and then it pulled him up to it and damaged him. Lawl, thought it was strange.

Anyway, good vid. Definately could weed out some vids and cut others down. Loved the music and DK Country 2 clips. The DK country games WERE my childhood lol.

hyphen upsmashing is about as fast, BUT more vulnerable if they DI out of the dash attack properly (or have a super DI char like wario or luigi)
