if anyone has a vcr they could bring.....then i would be able to hook my 3rd TV up. because it is old school and has no white/yellow/red plugs. so we would have to plug the cube in to the VCR....that would go through the TV.

11:00 Warm Ups.
12:00 Doubles Starts.
You can come late for Singles, but I don't know how long it will take for Doubles to be over.

$5 for singles
$10 per team
and if available people can bet on crew battles if they want

there will ALWAYS be a huge crew battle at the end of the tournament made up of 2 random team captains who choose from everyone that made it out to the tournament, UNLESS there is some type of major crew battle challenge between Palmdale and someone else because that would take too long. crew battles are my fav

rules...(from aesis....which is from knives....which is probly from some other tournament.)
TOURNAMENT RULES: (from Knives' Riverside Thread)
Random stages - Final Destination, Dreamland 64, Battlefield, Yoshi Story, Pokemon Stadium, Fountain of Dreams(singles), Kongo Jungle 64(doubles), Rainbow Cruise(doubles).
Banned Stages - Hyrule Temple, Flat Zone, Yoshi's Island, Brinstar Depths, Four Side, Big Blue, Kongo Jungle, Yoshi's Island 64, Mushroom Kingdom, Great Bay, Mute City(doubles), Fountain of Dreams(doubles)
Stage/Character selection - You may ask for a double blind pick first round. First round stage is random. If you do not wish the play the randomed stage, you may null it once and only once. If nulled, a random stage will be chosen again.
The winner of the previous round will choose one stage to ban. Stage banned cannot be one of the random stages. Loser will then annouce stage. Winner will choose character. Loser will choose character. No stage played twice.
Facing the same opponent - If you happen to face the same oppent twice, the match will be best of 4 out of 7. Wins from the previous set will carry over, meaning the winner will star with 2 wins and the loser with 1 or 0.

Any physical threats (unless sexy) will get you kicked out and probably banned. along with any form of stealing/ruining of stuff in my garage.

This will be in a garage. i will have two electric heaters running when it is cold. please bring a jacket so i dont have to hear you john. if my house wasnt so tiny we could play inside.

feel free to bring a camera and record things. i will try my best to record any exciting matches with my camera. having trash talk in the background always makes for a better video.

i dont have anything to do on sundays except for homework sometimes so you are welcome to stay until 12:00 the night of the tournament.

You may be asking yourself.......wtf is tauntsies? to make a long story short. one faitful night at a palmdale smash fest. everyone was in the room and just so happened to look at a friendly going on between ROFL and ezynjay. ROFL had knocked jay (who was playing marth by the way) off of the stage forcing him to use his up b (which has a big F'ing sword that would normally be impossible to edge gaurd). SOME HOW.....dont ask me how this happened. ROFL was able to pull off an amazing taunt spike right in front of everyone. now jay being the noob that he is was unable to meteor cancel as his jaw dropped to the floor. ever since this magical moment that occured deep in the heart of palmdale i have been unable to name any smash fest/ tournament anything but tauntsies.

As an added bonus anyone who is taunt spiked will have their name added to the white board (or wall of taunt) with the luigi player who ***** them placed beside their name. you better practice those meteor cancel's/wall techs. and if you taunt spike someone yourself......ill think of some special prize for you.

well it looks like the weather is getting a lot better so you might not have to worry about the whole jacket thing.

SOS makes is return. ahah its good that there is a tournament within your traveling distance tho cause you are good. and some good peeps will be here for you to play so you dont hate cali so much.

my parents are a little worried about the stranger thing. i dont think there is anybody comign that i dont really know. and everybody in smash is pretty nice. but im gonna have to limit everyone to one bathroom trip. and you will have to go inside with me and ill walk you back out of the house. you might have to wait for me to finish matches or do something else so it could be annoying. but if you really have to go you can walk across the street and piss in the desert.
