I'll admit, I was grinning like a goofball while watching his reveal trailer.

While some of your post rang true, not all of it did. Pacman is a legendary video game character so I don't understand how you can say he has a small fan base unless maybe you're under a certain age maybe?

In fact, when you google search both Sonic the Hedgehog & Pac-Man they have almost the same amount of website hits, so in actually both fanbases are nearly the same and don't out class each other lol.

I'm so excited for this news & can't wait for Pac-Man eater to dominate <3

Congrats, I was one of the people asking for another Namco character but I did think pacman was the obvious pick.I am really glad that they didn't give him anything related to ghostly adventures except a bgm in the show(Unless that was a remix from another pacman game.)

Obligatory congratulations out of the way; I am not necessarily discontent with Pac-Man, he is far more interesting than I could have ever hoped that he would be. I am glad that your journey, as Pac-Man supporters, is not coming to a premature end; in fact, it starts today. I am not so happy about the way the game is shaping up to be, but I can still be happy for you guys.

Congrats guys! I wasn't too fond of the idea of Pac-Man before due to his reboot, but Sakurai used his old look and made him actually look pretty interesting. I'm warming up to him.

I probably should had write more details. Is not Pac-Man what it ruined E3 for me. It was the way they used to reveal it.
As i said in the Romano Sal leak i can accept any of those characters being part of SSB. I can accept my favorite characters not being part of SSB. But being informed of Pac-Man reveal with a Twitter post... That hurts me, makes me feel even a sad.
I was happy about many things of E3 and this just pissed me off.

Now that I can understand. It was aftually a super lame way to show it off, and not showing it after the tournament was a terrible mistake.

I'll agree with this. They had the PERFECT opportunity to show him at the end of the Invitational. It would have made the crowd roar! Instead they did it behind closed doors. WHY?

Well uh, congrats Pac-Man fans. I never really wanted him, mostly due to his god awful Ghostly Adventures design, but Sakurai pulled it off perfectly! Will definitely be playing as him when the game releases. :)

NOW GET THAT DARN UGLY PAC-MAN OUTTA YOUR SIGS AND AVATARS

Wow, Sakurai truly knows how to do a character justice. My word does Pac-Man look fun, more so than I even thought. And he doesn't have the ugly teeth design to boot.

I'm not a Pac-Man enthusiast. So I just have a question, why does Pac-Man use a Fire Hydrant? I'm sure it relates to his games, I just don't know what. He looks fun to play as though.

Well, i actually was against Pac-Man being playable, but after watching his reveal trailer, he looks pretty awesome, what i love the most is that old school-game vibe on his animations, totally looking forward to try him.

Now what i need is a Ms. Pac-Man alt. costume.

Yes! (Almost) all of us got what we wanted! Both classic and GA designs, and 2D moves incorperated into his moveset! And it looks like the S-Flags and Galaxians were part of his moveset (but how are Peach and Kirby holding the S-Flags too?) along with the 8-bit ghost gang and fruit, pookas, and Mappy! Plus they went with my and some other people's request and the Pac-Man's Park theme from Pac-Mania! Now we get to pwn haters online as Pac-Man when the games finally comeout!
