portforwarding for a router awwww why are ppl so lazy? "zomg p2p dont workz ,hamaci dont workz so p2p suxxorz lololol" isnt it? enjoy you horrendous delay ,your lag spikes and your desyncs on EGX as you didnt even reconsider or ask for help to make it work, but at least if it doesnt work for you , and you alone , spare us your "omg p2p sux" statement and stay away from this thread geez it aint that hard

Your eyes happened to drift to my location, I see.
p2p is the abbreviation for peer to peer
a peer to peer connection is one that allows you to connect directly to your peer
in this case, the peer is your opponent
since you are connecting directly to your opponent, lag and delay are reduced significatly
so now you know what p2p is.
it is used in a wide variety of different games, but it is also possible to play p2p on kaillera with the movsq client.
it is only slightly harder to set up a p2p match
however if you are using a router, then you have to forward your opponents port(s) and likewise if your opponent has one in order to host a game

all in all it is much better to play p2p
but much easier to play normally

you decide which one you want to use

HAI GUYS

I'm too lazy to get p2p. My playing style isn't required to have p2p so unless if its harder to find a match on PJ64 than it is to on P2P I'll get of my *** and convert.

what do you mean to lazy? you download the client and put it into the folder that's not hard it takes 3 ****ing seconds. Just like it takes to set up mupen64k but people are just too ****ing afraid to switch.

The closer you can get to console on emulation the BETTER it is.

http://kaillera.movsq.net/ if a troll is reading this and doesn't refer to one of my previous posts.... that's where you DL the p2p client.

P2P seriously doesn't work for me....I mean it....even ask boom, we tried so hard to get it to work for me. I got it working once....and then I after my dad's friend came to fix our ip and stuff to be able to FTP to my xbox, the P2P stopped working and I luved it too >___>. I tried fixing it to it's original settings but then I realized that it's my isp that's being ghey because I tried getting my PS3 online and a stupid DNS error occurs. I even tried for my friend's PS3 and the same thing happened.....I swear I hate sympatico.

ports not forwarded problem. If you cant port forward, use hamachi.
