And bair. CCing to dtilt when jiggs is high % will work too. I'm not sure if dthrow to parachute is a combo, but the parachute in general is a good kill move for jiggs.

CC'ing rarely works though, especially against the bair. Look for a pattern in Jigglypuff's movements, if they try to WoP with bairs, hit 'em with a full jump dair. Just space yourself and look for opportunities. Watch out for off the stage gimps - try to avoid confrontations there, 'cause otherwise you'll get knocked out and you won't be able to recover since your horizontal recovery sucks.

CC'ing prolly won't work if the jiggly is wop'ing which she most likely is. try spacing fair like a few people in this thread said. If you space it right i even think it outprioritizes her bair. Be careful though and don't leave yourself vulnerable. If you do a mistake and you're left vulnerable anyway, PREPARE TO DI. Extremly important since most rest combos are di:able.

The box outprioritizes EVERYTHING to my knowledge, though if the Jiggs spaced it right, you'll trade hits. Also, take advantage of your interuptable frames after Up+Bing, and also how low you can go with it while recovering. Also, **** being practical. A missed rest=Hammer time. I mean come on. You're playing GaW. Remember...

<.<
Err seriously though, a spacing jiggs is a pain. Remember to lightshield even more so in this match. Getting shield stabbed by a rest sucks ._. Also, it doesn't matter how many jumps a Jiggs has if you can keep her away from that edge. Dtilts and Ftilts can actually edgeguard her here if she's low enough. Jiggs actually has a hard time sweetspotting correctly with her jumps, and I think your dtilt and ftilt will beat her forward+B. A mix up between fairs and tilts will let you get a gimp off her (like you can call that a gimp)

Oh yeah use Nair if she's committing to stuff stupidly or Bair spamming the gigantic hitbox will probably catch her.

Ya, spacing jiggs are hell if you don't know when to attack.

my advice-try to know where your suasages/bacons are being hurled(distance) and also the(speed). Jiggs space well because of pricolovity of the person to space well because of there lightness of there jigg. Once you can do this, you can bring the tension of B-use when there trying to situation you to attack because like you, you have a light and pretty vulnerable character alike to them.

It is my observation/and style to start up combos.
(G&W is a character in which you cannot just space your attacks, but with the bases of his projectiles that he tosses out. By predicting the trajectory of your bacon constantly, it will after a while become second nature and create in you confidence. Not just that but you will use it for good spacing.
-(A evident spacing method).-

furthermore...G&W requires of you to be able to predict.

Thanks for the tips guys, I'll try spacing a bit more I have to admit after one rest that I lost my head and didn't use my full range like I should. Lightshileding is something that went out the window with my head so I guess I'll try to light shield his crappy float rest tactic that caught me off guard and Hammer FTW. Thanks for posting G&W colleages.

lol, I've got one under my bed... would that count as 2/3 in a tournament or is he just considered unable to continue and disqualified?

Melee mostly, I really don't know squat about Brawl.

BTW My G&W two stocked a fox and three stocked a samus over the weekend.

Hell ya dude!! Was the Fox an average or good fox? I usually fight docs and falcos, samuss'

We'll with the new brawl hacks out, G&W is an absolute Demon!!! The hacks includes wavedashing,L_Cancel just like melee.

Well if you do have brawl- twighlight princess, maybe you can get the hacks and play me on melee 2.0 which is Brawl hacked.

I'm just gonna say I HATE the new Brawl hacks. Wavedashing and L-canceling were VERY minor problems with Brawl. Hitstun, and the lack of combos are what really broke Brawl, and the ridiculous infinites and chaingrabs, too. Fix those, and I'll consider playing it.

Plus you have Metaknight. Who needs L-canceling?

Whoa, how is this possible? Melee 2.0?

The fox was pretty average but still G&W **** is hard to cope with, I think I scared him, lol. Seriously tell me more about this "hack"

SSBB->SSBM 2.0

That means in Brawl you can wavedash , L_cancel. and more but don't be excited about it.

G&W in Brwal can L_Cancel all of his attacks but I find it boring if no one can compete at my level because of how strong, fast he has become that makes it easy to 4 stock anyone.

Melee is still way better.

^coolios^

-I highly recommend wavedashing with the X and Z or Y and Z buttons.

make sure you get the codes for no tripping, L_cancel, the code that can record over 3:00 minutes, and the code that allows you to put alot of objects in custom stage...only then can we play.

if you can get these codes, than there wont be any desynching online.

Hmm.... against Jigglypuff....

1) Space fair (Like everyone else has said) and SPAM IT. If she can bair camp then you can fair camp. :3
2) Space bair too, even if you can't lcancel it she can't do much about it if she gets hit.
2) If you get a grab, always dthrow -> parachute (Or dthrow -> hammer, which is the cool thing to do)
3) You can CC attacks at like.... very low percents. dtilt is your friend when this happens.
4) I find utilt to be effective when she is above you. (duh) So use that. Good stuff.

dthrow -> parachute is going to be your kill move in this matchup, or a fair at like 130%.
