DarkWarCloud has opened up the Training Grounds. What this is is a place for new players to learn who plays what characters all in a simple thread so that they can contact said person to "teach" them the basics. As of right now, we only have a handful of "teachers" for a few characters and we need more! This is where you come in. Anyone who is skilled with your characters (any character) and has the free time to teach someone how to either: Teach the basics of the game in general and/or teach specific character(s), go in the thread and either post or PM DarkWarCloud with your information (Format is in the thread) where you may possibly be contacted by someone who wants to learn. The future of smash lies in your hands.

On the other hand, if you wish to learn, go to the thread also!

Not a bad idea in theory, but checking out the guides would be better for a beginner than having a 'tutor'.

If somebody doesn't 'get' a guide, then they can ask for help after wards in that guide thread. I'll admit a lot of things in guide threads left me very confused, but asking the author or simply leaving an open question will handle that situation.

S.O.L.I.D. is opening a new one tomorrow to replace DWC's thread since he wont be able to keep it updated for a few months,
Plus, I'm fine on my own.
EDIT: BKrkr, you'll have knowledge sure, but can you apply it?
what I'm saying here is you also need experience in fighting and somebody to play you and give you tips is good. just reading a thread isn't going to get you somewhere, you need to play other people, apply it, and learn a char. from somebody who knows said char. well

Don't forget there are Q&A threads as well.

However, I am completely for the idea. I might see if I'll become a teacher. Possibly the "Teachers that can generally teach you anything about brawl and the cast" option.
