Ok. I was at the Timber Motels today. Just kind of around though. I think I know where the room is. I'll see whoever there.

>_> curse you master of chu!
Honestly what reason would I have to plaster Pikachu's glorious image along with Pokemon game music all over SmashBoards. Kevin, you give me too little credit.(   )

(Timmy) Your sig is riddled with lies. Also do you or Tommy have a set date on the next Smashfest or is that still all up in the air. As I wouldn't mind going to the next one if possible.

What do you guys think of falcon vs marth... who has the advantage, why, and how significant is it?
Well... it all depends. Marth speaks Japanese, which makes him seem more internationally tolerant, but Falcon has the Nascar dad vote sealed up tight.

Really, it's just been all self-promotion, like Marth's "Everyone! Look at me!" campaign. People really respond to smear campaigns though, and Marth certainly lost points at Falcon's press conference, as he was unable to oblige when asked to "Show [us his] moves." I'd really rather hear more about the issues from both of them.

Either way, it looks like it'll be a close race, but it's really a choice of the lesser of two evils, which is unfortunate, though I've heard that Sheik is doing well in the democratic primaries.

MoC, my sig was an April Fool's joke. And I did pretty much main Pikachu yesterday, ha ha ha.

I'm going to ask around to see what date will be best for everyone for the next SF:E. What I'll have planned is a Rankings Tournament (which will help with seeding for future tournaments), Crew Battles, and the usual Singles & Doubles. If I can get something worked out with Big City Gamin' I might hold the Singles there with local attendees.

This would either be late May or sometime in June. I'll post more when I get things figured out.

This guy is hillarious, dude, we need to get together and play, I might lose though, and suffocate from lack of air due to laughter, I will sign an affidavid saying I wont let my family press charges if I die due to suffocation related illness at your place, but If I see a pillow anywhere im running like capn falcon (well im a little pudgy so maybe more like Mario)

So James, I remember you saying that Oregon is not going to make it to DAN.
That was because of 4word staying in OR.

pretty sure hes stated a few times that he'll be in WA from the 22nd to w/e so...you should come. since he wont even be able to smash on the 21st.

you should also come because we went to 2 TANGs in 1 month.

Silent, I have no idea whether we're going or not, but it's more probable that we will end up going to Dan. I'll have to talk to forward first though.

I would like to go too... but I'd need to know if it's an all weekend thing? or is it just a day? If it's just a day and there is carpool i'll go
Why the hell should you be able to go? You didn't even compete at TANG 23.5. :|

I'de like to come to this tourney, but I'm confused... Is it being held on the 20th in addition to the 13th, or just one or the other? :ohwell: If the tournament is on the 20th, I can try to come.
It's the 20th now. It was going to be the 13th, with the 20th as a backup-if-something-goes-wrong-which-it-did date. Post in the thread for the tourney if you need more information.

Also: Venusgospel: In all likelihood, people will be staying from friday night to later sunday, since Forward's coming down that sunday, but I don't decide these things, so don't quote me on this.

How was my comment unnecessary? I don't think someone who doesn't plan on entering tournaments he is at should take up a seat in a carpool when someone who WOULD enter could go.

For one thing, it was caustic in diction. ("Why the hell should you be able to go?") In what part of his post did he say he wasn't going to enter the tournament? Jumping to conclusions is not often the route most wise.

I didn't enter only for the reason that there wasn't enough people...
If I were to enter the tournament (automatically knowing that I'd lose to Bart or Jessie, James, or any washington person) I would still put up the entry fee only because I want to knock some people out of the tournament myself. Thats the only way I'd get enjoyment out of playing that tournament, so next time, if more people come it wouldn't just be giving them free money, i'd get to actually have some fun

oh and a small portion of why I didn't enter... too much sandbagging, if i'm going to play a match with someone I'd rather take pure defeat over letting me get some pity kills, plus I'll learn more if they played for real

I don't exactly know why Bart's that way, but Pablo said that's just him, so I ignore it...
Barts hate=love XD

VG, I hate to say it, but if you're not entering for that reason, you probably wouldn't have much fun in WA.

WA's scene has some people in it that completely decimate OR. I go knowing that it is absolutely unlikely that I will win the tournament at my current skill level, and that entering is basically adding money to the pool to be won by the winner. If knowing that makes it not fun for you, I wouldn't suggest going to WA until you've gotten a lot better.

It's not him not winning the tournament, he just wants to win a few matches so he can actually have fun. Playing and getting eliminated in the first 2 rounds is hella boring.

EDIT: Who was I talking to on the phone?

Ah, apparently I misunderstood.

Well, if DAN turns out to be like Gameclucks, in that a bunch of randoms show up, I thing VG could concievably win a few matches. Then again, that was at a game store and I don't know much about the setup of DAN.

Silent, as I've said before, Oregon goes to tournaments mainly to see the people there, not be greedy complainers who whine the entire time they're at the tournament, like WA does every time it goes anywhere or is at GameClucks. We actually have a community, not just a bunch of cocky little kids thinking they're superior to everyone because they're better at a videogame. Out of everyone in Oregon, there are only a few douches, and, except in my case, no one hangs out with them. Neo-WA, on the other hand, really has no one that's cool to hang out with in person, except the two oldest. So grow up and GTFO of our thread.

I wouldn't go to TANG if it were just for the tournaments lol. I'm pretty sure our community is basically all we need, because we're all really good friends and are also really good. I don't see why you don't like me. T_T *yells random profanity, racist jokes, and oregon-sucks jokes*
