I liked the Pikmin games. Glad to see Pikmin & Olimar confirmed for Brawl since I've had my suspicions ever since the "Rocket Punch" in Pikmin 2. That, and he's a Miyamoto IP so that almost makes him a shoe-in for one SSB game or another.

Dan 2 info: the driver who was going to take us to WA got sick. Combined with him not being excited about driving up to WA to begin with I'm thinking maybe it won't happen? I mean, we could actually convince him to drive us up there and find a couch to sleep on while we play Smash, but I don't know if I'd want to do that to him >_<;

Pikmin games are fun, but the first one was kind of short, the second one rawked, especially fun with the added two-player mode. I'm not a die-hard Olimar fan, but I'm happy to see him on there.

As for the availability of the carpool, It looks like we might be attending Jank's tournament instead. Although, it sounds like it will actually be one of those big impromptu events. We'll try to pick up anyone on our way there. Hopefully Mayosan, Keeper, et al will be able to make it, we'll help out where we can.

One rumor says Brawl is delayed, another says it has gone gold... which are we to believe? Well, neither, to tell the truth. The only thing Nintendo has officially said is that Brawl will launch Jan. 24th in Japan and Feb. 10th in the Americas. I think Brawl has been delayed enough as it is, I and thousands of others would be very disappointed if there was another U.S. delay.

Edit:
The last Brawl update was especially interesting to me since those are the exact moves I thought of for Olimar about a year ago. Except I thought his Down Special would be pulling up Pikmin... but I even guessed the Pikmin Chain.
